There’s a guy with a 996 Turbo on Rennlist that is too.  He had 425k back in Oct of ‘14 when I met him.  He bought the car new and drives it year round in MA.

Yeah I agree.  I test drove an F430 with it and didn’t mind it.  It’s not PDK, but it wasn’t bad imo.  Of course, I like single clutch auto/manuals ala SMG.

The sound that 8 cylinder makes is just to die for.

My back would eventually hate me most likely, but my ‘07 911 Carrera would be my vote.  Otherwise a new S class would do nicely for this venture.

Because the condition, miles, and price of this car are stupendous.

Have you lost your mind?  A car that runs is worth 1500 easily.  This thing is in damn near mint condition and has all it’s service records.  And only 78k miles.  It’s NP all day.

Tampa!  And I bet it’s not going to last long.

Or you buy this. Because said LS400 with 78k miles is tough to come by and in 4/5 cases from cars.com are much more expensive.

I wouldn’t say there is no rust in FL.. humidity, and salt air (this car is in the Tampa area) contribute to rust.  Probably not like one sees in New England, but it probably warrants a look see.

I had a ‘95 Cavalier that was brand new and lasted me 125k miles with little to no drama.  Come at me bro.

That’s probably a fair point.  The majority of the population in FL is near the coast.  But as a counterpoint, there’s 2 million folks in Orlando who don’t have much of a salty breeze.   Source:  I live there.  :)

Lets bring them all back...

Probably depends on where it’s sourced from though right?  I mean if it’s a New England vehicle, probably not a good idea.  But something from say, FL would be much less likely to be rusty.

Me too.  The only thing jalop about me is the manual tranny in my car.  :)  And that’s it’s a sports car.

Yeah I don’t know whats better, the sweet Dr Martens or 3 pedals.

its called freevaping bro

In fairness, there weren’t exactly a ton of SEGA CD games were there?

Intimidator.

But that truecoat...

It’s called “jalop-logic” I believe.
