Very true. The BMW in the article could easily be a 2006, and cost somewhere in the neighborhood of 7-8k. But your average person hasn’t a clue about that.

That car could easily be a 2006. Too old for bluetooth streaming and possibly the same for an aux jack.

I’d guess that it’s because his car is too old to have an aux jack and definitely too old for bluetooth streaming. That car could easily be a 2006 (didn’t see which model it was). That or he’s too stupid to figure out how to get an adapter to work with a new iphone without a headphone jack.
