They got my car in and started work on it in less than 24 hrs, so there wasn’t time for a loaner. My experiences with loaners have been that you need to schedule the appointment in advance. They just didn’t have any available on short notice like that.

It’s not like that at all. When Lexus was first launched there were only 2 cars available. the LS 400 and the ES 250. Genesis is in nearly the exact situation. But I feel ya on the earlier model of the Genesis.

That’s okay bro, because I’m not selling it. I’m sure it’s a conspiracy. Lol.

Stars. You must have them.

My experience with 3 different Audi dealers. I only bought a CPO A4 for about $30k from them, but they always treat me like a king. When I moved to Orlando, my car blew a fuel pump. I asked if I could catch a ride back home (solid 40 min drive) and they said sure thing! Kid pulled up in a brand new A8L and off we

Current model Genesis cars are their own brand. Ala Lexus from Toyota, or Acura from Honda. You won’t find a Toyota anywhere visible (maybe anywhere period?) on a Lexus. Genesis is the same now.

rennlist.com has numerous stickied threads on this process in the 981 forum and 991 forums. Some of their members literally know more about PTS than the average Porsche sales person. In some cases, they are as well informed as the PTS experts Porsche employs.

Aerobeetle ftw

Eh... that’s a huge car. Conceivable. I bet it gets close.

You have to understand that those cars weren’t designed specifically with speed around a track in mind. They hybrid aspect weighs them down tremendously (918 is 3600lbs+ vs GT2RS 3200lbs+). They were engineering exercising to learn about hybrid technology and push the envelope. Obviously they were going to be fast,

Porsche isn’t known for tweaking the cars for the test ala Ferrari. It’s just not their thing typically. So I’d be willing to bet it’s a stock car.

It is a little humorous. However I’d rather have a 918 any day. That car has amazing presence (ignoring the cost differences). But. The 918 was never meant to the the fastest Porsche of them all. It was an engineering exercise to show what could be done with hybrid technology. Is it fast? Of course. But had they

I concur. When I bought my 911, I didn’t go with the model that was the fastest 0-60 or around the ring. I went with the one that sounded the best to me and felt the most fun to drive. Didn’t care if it was the latest and greatest, just wanted the one that spoke to me.

It’s more their overall attitude to any track test. If you are a press member and want to test a Ferrari at a track (think, Chris Harris), they want to know what track and when so they can figure out the best setup for the car. And then the press car you are given will be tweaked specifically for that track based on

The 918 was an engineering exercise. Built to showcase what is coming in the future. Not necessarily about fastest lap times. As such, those batteries weigh it down. It’s 3600 lbs roughly while a GT2 RS is 3200. Massive difference.

Alot of GT2RS owners (future owners) are itching to get it to the track though. Because that’s how they roll.

Fail. That’s not the Nordschleife. Not even close.

One of my favorite websites out there for sure.

Yeah he was pedalling the car big time the whole way around.

Believe it or not, just because you can afford the $150k or so, doesn’t mean you want to make it $170k. Chances are that $20k means alot to you. Now. Some buyers, sure. $20k is just fuck you money. But the majority of 911 buyers in that range don’t like throwing away the money if they don’t see the perceived value.
