I used to work in Mooresville NC, which for those who aren’t in the know about NASCAR (I’m assuming that’s about 95% of Jalopnik), a large percentage of the NASCAR teams have their race shops there. I worked at a golf shop after graduation and became close friends and golf buddies with a couple of team members. One

Pulp mills are killer. Charleston SC has a unique combo too, they have a paper mill and also something they call pluff mud. Which is basically salt water marsh mud. When the tide is out, the mud is exposes and reeks. Smells like a combo of a paper mill and poo. Great place to live, amazing culture and food, but wow

Doug made me shake my head when he mentioned that the E46 M3 didn’t seem too quick in his review of it and the E39 M5. Yeah, it’s nothing compared to some cars. But 0-60 in 4.6 seconds isn’t too quick? Just a matter of perspective I suppose, but being 10 years older that made me raise my eyebrows. Made me realize just

How were the 90's pre M3? :) I’m confused.

Really? The C300 to me looks more classy and elegant than the Hyundai interior...

So uh. There was...

Yeah. Would like to see this done. But am not interested in funding it. Lol

Damn. You can buy a pair of carbon fiber GT3 seats for your 911 for 21k. Did I mention they are fully formed from carbon fiber? And sold by Porsche? (read that as massive markup).

Haha me too. I think I need another cup of coffee this morning.

Interesting idea. Since we basically print money (I work for Disney), I could see this actually being conceivable.

I would agree. He had a hand in the E46 afterall, which is still in my eyes one of the best looking cars of all time. I know he wasn’t the lead designer, but I still give him partial credit.

They’ve worked pretty hard to increase reliability over the past 25 years. With pretty solid results.

For those in the know yes, but who that sees you driving it down the street will know it’s history?

You mean a different toy right? Because you can’t get a new Elise in the States anymore.

Definitely include Taylor Schilling.

Yeah, these were hot back in the day. It wasn’t a bad design, but it hasn’t held up well to my eyes. A friend had a metallic white one. Very nice ride.
