Err but per their account of the situation, they saw the car fly by them at a high rate of speed and had trouble even catching up to it. To me, that’s a joy ride. But I wasn’t there so I can’t say for certain.

You have to remember what other cars interiors looked like back then...

Likely he’s never driven an 80's BMW with a stick?

I work for them in IT. What rates are you referring to? :)

But per one of the earlier comments, the flight was full. So...

I heard Richard Branson was riding the storm out in his wine cellar on his private island. No joke.

We sure owned those Japanese planes vs our F14's...lol

EPIC

Not when they were descending to land... or ascending after takeoff. Pretty much looks like they went right through the nasty.

Well. Yes. The flight to Puerto Rico. But had you read the article, you would know that they flew back out 50 minutes later. Thus away from the storm. I presume the comment was from a person on that flight.

Yeah... my A4 (2012) will hit 115 easy.

That’s part of why the acronym Break Out Another Thousand applies to boat ownership.

Correct. You do not measure fuel economy on anything over probably 20ft by MPG. The proper measure is GPH. And it’s probably astronomical.

I spent 7 years in a wealthy area of eastern CT (there’s a famous pizzeria that was featured in an 80's movie there) and while there were a crap ton of dudes worth a ridiculous amount of cash there, they were almost always driving mid 90's Volvo’s or MB’s. I literally saw one Ferrari, no Lambo’s, and no McLaren’s

Having just moved to Orlando recently, I can tell you the Florida man phenomenon is real. Shit has showed up on Gizmodo and Jalopnik 2 times from my area in the short time I’ve been here. Remember the guy who ran into the like 17 parked cars in an apartment complex? Yeah... that’s like 2 miles from my condo. Lol

Can confirm. Used to date a girl who’s family owned two car lots that sold 2-6k cars. It was ridiculous the size of the house they had on the lake in my town. She worked for them and explained that most of the cars they bought at auction cost anywhere from $500 to $1500. $1000 worth of fix and detailing, and boom. $5k

LOL... I had the same thoughts

Really, 4th over the 5th? They really did alot right with the 5th gen imo. Always interesting to see opinions though. :)

Agreed. That’s one of the nicer ones I’ve seen. Seems like they are almost always black.
