Even the commercials that are there are rarely that terrible in terms of length or how frequently they pop up. it’s like 45 seconds every 15-ish minutes (sometimes longer between breaks).

That’s crazy!

I would like the Motion Comic more if they had spent the extra money to hire a full cast instead of just having the one guy do all the voices. That just takes me out of it. :/

I would watch the hell out of this show

Tell us again how you are just stalking progressives on this website. Why else are you here? You hate EVERYTHING.

This isn’t even a meaningful criticism of anything, you are just throwing shit at the wall like a monkey. Another excellent reflection of your writing abilities though.

Some Jubilee shit isn’t why no one

Its depiction of the squid event made it worth being a Watchmen sequel.

From what I’ve heard, Lindeloff did in fact first develop it as an original story, but then a friend pointed out it was close enough to Watchmen that everyone would call it a ripoff, so he went after the license.

-“Oh, that kid in the first Toy Storybought a toy, and it was based on a movie. And this is that movie.” That’s probably a few layers too deep.”

I think they can be good. The live-action Jungle Book movie from 2016 was good (better ending than the animated film), and the live-action Aladdin film was good when they weren’t awkwardly forcing in the original songs (Jasmine’s feminist stuff was pretty ham-handled as well, but eh).

I actually had to go back and check A.V. Club’s own reviews to make sure I wasn’t crazy. All A’s and A-’s. 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. Metacritic even has a “Universal Acclaim” graphic on the show page. William Hughes might have thought it was messy, but yeah, this was a weird forum for him to voice that opinion,

If it’s how Rebel Moon seems to be working, it’ll be announced roughly a couple of months after it comes out.

Middle aged doesn’t mean halfway through your life, the middle age is the bit when you’re well into adulthood but not yet classed as old

Nice guys 2 set in like 1992 and they are both 10 years older! I would love it.

I haven’t seen Luca, but Turning Red was a blast, and I liked, Soul, too.

I like middle aged, don’t give a fuck, nothing left to prove so let’s take jobs for the fun and the money Russell Crowe. Much better than the angsty early version.

Hoping for The Nice Guys 2.

“Elemental" was pretty good too and came out just last year.

I feel like people forget how recent Luca and Turning Red are when talking about Pixar, they obviously got Fuuuuucked by the D+ release but I keep hearing “Pixar has sucked for years!” and then, when reminded of the D+ ones, respond “Oh yeah, those were pretty good actually.”

Not only has it been told in Gladiator, but even when you consider the “behind the scenes machinations” I feel like that was a big part of Spartacus, which ran for a bunch of seasons.

Roland Emmerich is an A-Lister now?  His movies may be big-budget, but they are definitely B movies.
