I know who the movie is for.  The review, not so much.

It’s true that he played the character a little broad, but the third movie is so exceptional on all levels that you hardly notice. I wish Yates had made fewer movies and Cuaron had made more.

If you showed me that top screenshot and told the name of the film and said it was a fake film made up for a TV show, I’d believe you.

I’ve enjoyed seeing new takes on these films. I thought New Empire was better than I expected. My favorites are still Godzilla 2014 and Kong Skull Island. I’m always down for another one.

We both saw it. So did a lot of other people 🤔

I continue to be fascinated by how much money Netflix throws at movies that would’ve been zero-budget, DTV dreck rotting in the Walmart bargain bins waiting for grandparents to buy them as disappointing presents for their grandkids in the pre-streaming era. Look at that header image and tell me it doesn’t look like it

No he really does need to keep telling us... This is the only MCU film this summer and it’s deliberately rated R boxing out the MCU’s main demographic. They need to do everything in their power to warn parents so there isn’t massive backlash from their kids saying “whiskey dick of the claws”.

Genuinely this seems like

I’ve actually seen a writer here post in the comments that they actually don’t have a hand in writing the headlines. Which would actually explain why half of them start with “welp” etc.

It’s fair to get mad at them for a tonne of stuff but this actually isn’t one of them.

I’ve gotten over Giancarlo Esposito as Charles Xavier. The fact that he said it’s a role that’s never been done before and the internet is like “He’s Kang!” is hilarious... I actually think he would make a perfect Mr. Sinister ;) a villain that’s been teased but never seen SO MANY TIMES in the films that it feels

Does anybody remember when the writers and commenters on this site WEREN’T all massive sparky curmudgeons who couldn’t find anything in the world fun or joyful if it bit them in the face? I do. Kinda. I know it's hard not to be irony poisoned by the internet these days, but christ, I'm a diehard anarcho-communist

Most meta thing ever that would bring audiences back ...

I never watched a single second of Walker, but I did see endless commercials for it while watching the other CW shows so I feel like i know most of the plot of the four seasons. But the cancellation makes me a little sad, as it really is the end of an era, one that I loved but still maybe didn’t fully appreciate. Much

the CW is pivoting to cheap reality shows, religious soap operas, and clip shows from within the Totally universe”

Mojo Games: The Ballad of Longshot & Spiral

Overwrought Chris Claremont dialogue replete with moderately offensive ethnic and regional dialects, or GTFO.

Unless you interpret Hunger Games as a verb. “Marvel plans on Hunger Gamesing a screenwriter until they have an X-Men script”. I assume it means “to force someone to participate in bloodsport,” but tbh, I’ve never actually read the books/seen the movies.

Wow, I haven’t seen that since it came out. I’d have to watch it again.

Yeah, what an asshole to have JOBS for MONEY. Who does he think he is - a human being living under late capitalism?

I will go to bat for Tom Petty appearing as a post-apocalypse Tom Petty.

I thought his best flick by yards was No Way Out because all he had to do was look worried.
