It would not surprise me if they put Connie in a same sex relationship. She goes to college meets a nice girl, Kahn initially acts as if it’s a phase but eventually comes to accept the girlfriend (50% chance it’s because of her personality 50% chance it’s because her parents are more important then Chane's parents).

“Good Times” from “Maude” from “All in the Family” followed the path laid by “Gomer Pyle” from “Andy Griffith” from “The Danny Thomas Show”, so it’s not a new road. It just doesn’t get as much traffic as others on the map.

Didn’t they pull something like that with Bill Adama in ‘Caprica’? (I guess you could call that character Edward James Almost.)

Bobby is a fusion chef? Please let this be the start of the King of the Hill crossover with The Bear that no one asked for but that we all desperately need.

Personally, I can’t untangle myself from Jay Sherman.

I love this show. I remember the gag where Jay was putting together a show about movies he liked. He had his list, and when they told him American films only, he ripped a tiny strip of paper off that just had Eraserhead on it. That made me watch Eraserhead, which I had never heard of at the time.

Why is it creepy?

huh??? i mean i hate that trope too but why’s it CREEPY to you?

This finale was simply perfect. I'm a grown adult and I cried my eyes out.

Gotta be that guy. I Hate Myself And I Want To Die wasn’t on In Utero (the original release anyway). It was the lead track on the equally influential compilation album, The Beavis and Butthead Experience. The 90s were definitely a time...

I can’t believe they didn’t take advantage of having Jim Parsons for the finale and NOT take the opportunity for him to somehow discover his father never cheated. It’s unnecessarily tragic for Sheldon to believe his father was unfaithful when he never was.

To be fair, King of the Hill and Star Wars are in different boats because (per Disney marketing) we’re supposed to view the “Skywalker Saga” as a single story, whereas nobody looks at King of the Hill and thinks “yes, this is an ongoing epic. Boomhauer’s latest antics at the gun club will surely have vast repercussions

O’Barr was an orphan raised in the system who wrote The Crow as a way of dealing with the death of his fiancee, and he’s nothing but supportive of the adaptation. There are a lot of fair criticisms you can make of the movie, but a lack sincerity probably isn’t one of them.  That’s definitely his angst up there.

The “fusion” is just adding nutmeg

Wasn’t a fan of the flash forwards in the final episode (perhaps because I never watched TBBT) but the penultimate funeral episode was pitch perfect.

Just watched the recent 4k anniversary release. It's a damn near perfect flick.

Counterpoint: No. And fuck off.

Singles! Though not quite “eclectic” I suppose...

Judgement. Night.

Truly a golden age of the “eclectic mix tape” soundtrack. Trainspotting, Pulp Fiction, Romeo & Juliet just to name a few more.
