"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Rialto Feel-O-Round invites you to stay for our feature presentation, 'Deep Throat', which will begin shortly."
Growing up in the 80's, I was aware of Cannon films, and I even watched a few of them. I was fascinated with movie poster art, and I remember I had one for Tobe Hooper's Invaders From Mars. I remember watching Superman IV on VHS, same with Masters of the Universe.
Ah, nope. Checked and it was this one, #2.
Oh cool, more It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia!
I was fascinated with movie poster art as a kid, and I remember I had one of the 'American Ninja' movie posters (I think it was the 4th one).
Jimmy Fallon's Youtube clips of celebs playing games are kind of a guilty pleasure for me. Fallon is kind of annoying, but occasionally there will be something great, like Kate Upton kicking his ass in Flip Cup.
If there's ever a Jimmy Fallon wind-up doll, it should grin, slap its hands together, deliver that fake laugh, and move its head back while doing so.
I saw Cheap Trick for the first time this fall, and for one song, Rick brought out that famous 6-necked guitar. I was thinking, "I wonder how much that thing weighs?"
Whitechocolatespaceegg is my favorite, 'Johnny Feelgood' is my favorite song of hers ("I can take this in doses large enough to kill"). I really like Exile and Whip-Smart too, though I rarely listen to those all the way through.
I got a cheap seat for the STL show, it's at one of the corners behind the stage.
It's definitely a love it or hate it type of film.
'Jingle Bell Rock' or 'Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree'
I bought the Foo Fighters' 'Big Me' single b/c it had like 6 b-sides. Same with Beck's 'Jackass'.
I used to love this song. I still like it, but I've kind of heard it too many times.
Upvoted for that Roxette track. Still a good song.
I hated Binaural at first, but after hearing several of the songs live over the years, I've appreciated it a little more. Light Years, Thin Air, Nothing As It Seems, and Soon Forget are all good.
Pretty good list, props for including 'Thumbing My Way', I think that song (and most of of Riot Act) is underrated. I haven't totally liked a PJ album since that one (though the Avacado one had a couple of good songs, Worldwide Suicide being one of them). I'll still listen to their records to see what they're up to…
FOUR OR FIVE VIRGINS AND A PELICAN
"Connie and Raymond Marble, you have been found guilty, of assholism!"
One of my favorite movie lines ever.
