“...her response is basically that she’s a good driver.

My parents had 1982, 1984 and 1985 Buick Century(s). The 1985 was the best of the bunch, which makes it, I guess, not the worst car ever created by mankind?

I’ve been to that airport. It’s a Schiphol.

Good insight. How does it compare to the new vehicle market at large? It seems like demand is slowing broadly, but that’s just a feeling. Would be curious what the data says.

Who’s mandating people drive EVs?

Studebaker ad shows a location of Florida and then talks about its location in Southern California in the description. Immediately disqualifies it for me.

I went from a 3-series to a Model 3, so there’s one data point for you. At least with my 2023 version, the quality issues are overblown especially for things that really matter like reliability compared to a BMW.

Ford

Any Mercedes with the 6.2 V8 (c63, e63, etc.)

Excellent work, FTC. Now do health insurance.

Would be interesting to own because of its rarity and good condition, but with $8,500 for a 90s convertible, I’d rather drive a (manual transmission) Miata, Del Sol, Z3 and probably some other droptops I’m forgetting.

You lost me at “everywhere.” You were so close to making a good argument until the absolutism.

Car salespeople don’t care one iota about what the customer wants. They are entirely motivated by what they want. If that aligns with what the customer wants, great, if it doesn’t, well, tough titty.

Yes, except you were standing next to a Chevy Citation while you drew the Panamera from memory.

Good thought, but this pre-dates credit card apps, unfortunately.

I was unable to try out its Performance All Wheel Drive because you can only use it when the car is charged above 80 percent”

I had some BS once where I filled up the tank (showed above full at return), and they said I needed to show the receipt. Of course, when I filled up the pump printer was out of paper and there was a line of people 10 deep in the store, so I didn’t get a receipt. They charged the full fill-up amount.

I think you’re underestimating the percentages here

What? You’re trolling, right?

This is a dumb comment.
