They have lines at the grocery for X (usually 10) items or fewer.

My brother had one of these. I had no idea it was rare, let alone 673 production vehicles rare.

Can’t tell if this is sarcasm or the post of a very obvious anti-union shill (or maybe... wait... Elon, is that you?)

Essentially, yes. However, in this case, it is not intended to be the standard mode of operation but a backup to the electric release. Hertz should have a permanent sticker on the door pointing it out if they’re not going to explain it to renters.

Agree. This is on Hertz for being a shitty company.

It has both. The electric release is like a trunk-popper. It allows you to open the door remotely for someone. Problem here is that Hertz didn’t explain this, because it’s not entirely obvious. The mechanical door latches are very similar in placement and action to a 2010 Ford Explorer I had once. People had trouble

Worth it just to get the wheels

My first thought is that if there were cars parked on either side, it might have been too difficult to get any leverage to break a side window without breaking the window if the car next to it, too.

Don’t share your hate for Subarus, but take a star for your eloquent imagery.

Hyundais and Kias are genuinely excellent cars these days, but the dealers are trash.

To me, that just intensifies the error in judgment. They should have know never to take the Mustang name in vain after the Mustang II debacle. Fool me once...

So I’m NOT the only one who experiences this. I have felt like I’m in an episode of Twilight Zone every time I have mentioned exactly what you’re saying and people look at me like I’m deluded. Any sort of poor driving: Toyota/Lexus (or Honda CR-V) is leading the charge.

All the even-numbered BMWs except the 2-series. M2 and M240i are the closest modern equivalent to the old BMW ethos of “ultimate driving machine.”

Voted nice price, but there’s now way this is a legit ad. Has to be a scammer.

This is a terrible fate. You have my sincere sympathies. I dread the day...

This was the article I was expecting to read. Thanks for doing the author’s job for them.

You might be swinging the pendulum of gender bias a little too far in the other direction here. Not sure where it says Fords, and F150s in particular, are designed and built exclusively by women.

For multi-jack lifting, I’m a big fan of these pneumatic lifts. You can get them with wheels and a handle, too. Doesn’t take a big compressor to lift them. These are great for front center jacking. I have a 4-post lift, and it’s also great for doing wheel/suspension work while the car is on the lift.

Seems reasonable on the surface, but this approach also damages the company’s 9,500 employees in order to punish a relative handful of dickbags. If you could prosecute the dickbags and breathe new life into  the rest of the company, that would be ideal. Unfortunately, this seems to be an either/or proposition.

Minor correction: the Isuzu Impulse was sister car to the GEO Storm, not the Metro.
