I know. They so crazy!

I once saw Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westveldt on the F train!!! It's a true story.

She's channeling Jodorowsky here———

While admiring a Richard Serra sculpture at DIA: Beacon. Do I win an award?

I love all of these. The wackier the prom dress, the better! I wore victorian lace up boots to my prom, and huge white roses pinned all the way down the back of my head kind of like a mohawk that starts at the crown. That was just a detail I added at the last minute. My parents were out of town and I couldn't find a

Honestly? I think she has a white intern who perpetrated this photoshop hack on her behalf without her knowing. Beyonce is proud of her amazing thighs; she's made her entire image on stomping around on strong, beautiful legs. It's ridiculous for anyone familiar with her image to even TRY to assert that she would EVER

This is not news. They've been voting that way since 1852.

Are they wearing the same shade of lipstick?

Yes, I love it. Sorry. And I hate most things I see on actresses.

oh, but YESSSS!

I think we are examining the situation from different angles, with the same opinion. I'm assuming Nazareth has another R1 candidate lined up to take W's place, but then, they will always be in the same position of not being able to retain junior faculty unless they adjust their expectations of what it means to try and

What about the fact that Nazareth probably had the top candidates on the market to choose from? Should they not take into account that they would need to sweeten the deal in order to retain a hire that would, in a more balanced market, never even consider applying there? This turn of events just justifies to me how

Part of the problem here is that TT jobs are so scarce in the Humanities, only the top candidates who come from research positions are receiving job offers at ANY institution of higher ed. It is true that this candidate's negotiation points were poorly articulated, but it's not like Nazareth chose from a limited pool

Thank you, this post was beautifully and thoughtfully written.

I do not get the hate for this collection or this presentation. This is quite possibly the most brilliant show since Alexander McQueen's from the late 90s/early 200's. Conceptual, subversive, beautiful, poetic, performative, interactive. No one noticed that most of the products were renamed poetically. Rubber gloves

Her skin looks very recently peeled.

Well, YAY

I'm getting a lot of hate for this comment for some reason. Allow me to clarify: I abhor J Law irrationally and do not want her to win. I think she is a horrible actress and model and am of the opinion that she is undeserving of any Oscar win. Including Winter's Bone. I'm allowed to express this opinion and you are

So we differ in our opinions. Strange.

If Lupita doesn't win, I'll be plunged into an unabating and unecoverable depression.
