You aren’t going back far enough. Sony originally locked games like Grand Theft Auto (timed) and Metal Gear Solid 2 (timed), and 3 (completely) from being on Xbox.

This might be the dumbest take on it yet. Yes let’s cheer on a mega corporation suing and jailing programmers so a game they already abandoned can continue to not exist. They are gaining nothing out of this.

I don’t know if game companies should be indirectly pressured from the platforms they run on for management decisions. That just seems like it could lead to platforms abusing their power.

Sable, a game that runs like complete crap on consoles as a game of the year is kind of perplexing. Unpacking is cute but a GOTY for a drag objects to their location game?

So many people excuse Sony because they “have all the exclusives”. Well I have a PC but it can’t do the graphics quality of my series x and I certainly can’t upgrade it for $500 to get it there. For some reason in Sony fan’s minds making games available to pc players makes the gaming less valuable.

This argument could be used to support any company that you might want to boycott.  They all have workers, unless boycotting is just too unfair in your eyes.  It's how an open market regulates itself.

Its not about cheating to them, in their eyes if they can accomplish the same thing with farming that EA charges you to do with micros it is fair game.  I kind of agree, if it's a pay to win game farming just evens the score and tells the developer their economy is broken.
