You played through a single player campaign and wondered why it wasn't free.  Since when are single player experiences ever free?

If EA could fix battlefront 2 anything is possible.  I just still find the gameplay loop kind of dull, as opposed to battlefront 2 that had so many different modes, space battles, full vehicle combats, deathmatch.

Are you telling me the switch can't run the PS3 versions of 1 and 2?  Oh thats right square wanted to save money on actually porting anything and are just offering a stream.  We need a new system over here Nintendo.

His take is there is nothing 8K about this game except the resolution they set. Textures and geometry were not built with 8K worth of detail so it's just upscaling the hell out of a game.

An 8K game would use 8K resolution scale on its textures. Not going to speculate what theirs are but quite a bit lower than that.

Chris Brown has been shamed to the point where he is somewhat sidelined.  You won’t see him promoting anything, or being the face of any festival.  He completely lost that Michael Jackson shine.

It really isn’t, I have worked in development for years.  Everyone may not have access to everything, but everyone has access to something.  No one would do it though because you would never be hired again.  Being a programmer is a lot about trust with data.

They probably modified the engine and wanted to see how their improvements transferred over.  If they were going to make a new IP that was essentially a GOW3 skin for PS3 it might have been useful.  I have a feeling they were cramped with GOW franchise being Xbox only.

Maybe they made some improvements and wanted to see if they could use them for more than just the GOW3 codebase.

The biggest problem I see is that these titles are sold “through” the Sony store but for the most part they are sold directly from the content creators. So if content creators can set their own price for physical versus digital than they are already competing with other companies to make sales in the digital…

It would have to incorporate some kind of copy protection.  Which would get cracked out of it.  The potential for someone to turn it into a piracy device is just too great.  Just use their emulator on the series x.

I would say they have some kind of an antigravity ability and then just shuffle along the ground with those tiny feet to move in a direction.

It just means the cores can talk to each other directly.  With the speed of the PS5 they could have just moved all that into multithreading and probably got similar results, but they don’t care to even try.

It probably already dropped, I didn’t notice the update either since I have automatic overnight updates turned on by default.

Weird that it doesn’t list it as an FPS boost option, but it works great.  Love this game, had it since it was called Next Car Game on pc, I think that was like 2014 or so.

I think the point of his interview was to show she needed help.  But he didn’t have to let her spill her guts on camera to do it.  He could have just offered it and then did a show about her getting better or how she feels after getting help.

And only by the force of law.  I’m scared for this one, what incentive do they have to fix up the Xbox Series X version?
