It wasn’t perfect, but I still loved Andromeda. Lots of stuff got ironed out with patches and even after having played it for over 80 hours, I was looking forward to DLC. Though as mentioned in the article, with the scaling back of the studio it wasn’t looking good.

I always appreciate when well done kids show up in games, it makes the worlds so much more lived in and believable.

However.

Many game developers, for whatever reason, struggle to model kids that don’t look extremely weird or creepy.

The Final Version of Cora Harper looks a bit disappointing in comparison to the Dark Haired Concept Art Version.. Kinda wish they used that one instead.

Even with the animation glitches I do love the sense of wonder and exploration the art and visuals of the game present. Great change from the previous games which quickly reused assets like crazy.
