Also, while it's a few steps away from the original novel, Jacques Tourneur's I Walked with a Zombie is a masterpiece.

Yeah, I've tried it like three times and have never gotten further than like page 100.
Malcolm X is definitely great, but it's nowhere near the level of Do the Right Thing, which is most certainly one of the greatest of all movies.
I don't remember if I read the book last year after seeing the movie or shortly after, early in 2013. I actually prefer the movie, but I think both are fantastic works of art.
I've pretty much seen everything except Inside Llewyn Davis, and I'm waiting for a friend to come back from vacation to see that, so I very well might see this this weekend.

Aren't Gen-xers in their 40s now?
But I got to see Lizzy Caplan naked in the first episode!
I bought both seasons of Enlightened based on the love of it here (and I have a friend who's always suggesting it, too).

Maybe I will never be able to see Yeltsin in a bad light, just because of this: www.theonion.com/articles/a…
You are young, my friend! I was in my 20s when that flick came out.
As I remember (haven't seen it since it was in the theater) it was easily one of Disney's worst. But, like I said, it was pretty.
Well, Dinosaur, as bad as the film was, was at least great to look at. This just looks really fucking lazy.
Well, aren't the lemurs more of a "dinosaurs aren't cuddly enough to sell as toys" type thing? I remember seeing the movie in a theater filled with the most annoying children, and when the lemurs first appeared on screen this little girl pointed up to them and said "That's Plio! I have that one!"
Yeah, Beano. Maybe we could give him a Mexican accent!
