I saw it opening weekend! And I agree, it's a really good film.

Dude, I saw the trailer for The Bye Bye Man about 100 times in the theater. Never even heard a whiff about this one until earlier this week.

There's a black guy in it.

It was not disqualified, it just didn't get nominated.

Sims' latest album is quite good. Mike Mictlan's album from a couple years back is great.

No? Her beauty distracts the doctor character from figuring it out earlier. Also he falls in love with her and knocks her up.

Oh, man, you've got to see Ballad of a Soldier. One of my favorite films ever (though I'd still go with La Dolce Vita). It's a melodrama and a propaganda film at its core, but it's deeply moving.

Criterion Collection now on sale at Barnes & Noble!

Dude, if you think La Strada and La Dolce Vita are slow, Antonioni is going to make your fucking head explode.

Remember when she was having sex with Mickey Rourke and it rained blood on them?

Oh, God, I forgot about that bit. Great misdirection gag.

When I used to drive a Geo I SO wanted a bumper sticker that said that, but it died before I stopped being lazy.

It's a Charles Nelson Reilly reference.

That one was pretty good, and I also kind of like the one where he gets together with his whole family to plot to get revenge on Bart. I'm not much of a latter-season hater, but, frankly, I wish they had retired Bob after Brother from Another Series. Some of his episodes are among the very worst, including the two

There's nothing left but this quince log, sir.

Probably because it's really, really funny.

It's better than a million Super Bowls!
