I like it a lot, but it's hardly hip-hop anymore. Skeleton Key was my favorite.

I'm totally gonna get some tonight.

No love for A$AP Rocky around here? I didn't listen to a ton of hip hop this year, but that was probably my favorite. Sure, a few duds here and there, but, God, there were some killer beats on that record.

Marshall Stiffy.

"Drink this"

Yeah, me, too. I guess they really can't age the characters at this point, but it felt really weird with Hayley being 19.

Hope no one gets shot in the next week!

He was in that great scene with Stan dancing around Steve's identity in the den.

They say his name is Steve Gutenberg, but we cannot find any evidence a man of that name has ever existed.

I work at as place that makes the cardboard circles that go under the pizzas.

Joanna Gruesome was mentioned on several lists yesterday on the Best Of thread. I liked the name so I checked them out. Pretty good stuff.

They're from Minneapolis! I remember one of our locals going on and on about how hardcore their name was, completely missing the fact that it was a Simpsons reference (we also have a band called Kruddler).

I guess?

Opening for him: Communist Daughter (and, I think, Red Daughters, but we were there to see Communist Daughter.

Minaj was pretty great on that song (and that song only).

I fully expected VW to be #1. The records that topped it are nowhere near it.

It's certainly better than the Haim record.

Jason Isbell might be great, but the little I've heard from him has bored me. I actually went to his concert last year, but to see the band opening for him. My friend and I decided to skip Isbell and go to the show next door, and I don't regret it.

I need to get that record. I love "Cocaine" and the accompanying Nick Offerman video.

I'm a huge TMBG fan, but I didn't like Nanobots much at all. It's okay when a song pops up on my itunes, but I can't listen to it straight through.
