A game delay does not always guarantee a better game. you are hopeful that it does, but there will be glaring faults that even a delay cannot fix, like a poor story or lacking gameplay.

I was thinking what if Valve only rebought the digital key for 10% of its current market value which you would get in steam wallet funds. in the end, valve would still gain to profit from the ordeal without upsetting devs/publishers since they still profit from each key…

problem with digital resales is that there is zero difference between used and new key. with physical, there is a difference. namely, the condition of the physical item. that is how the physical item loses value. with digital, you can “sell” it back to valve who would just throw it back in to the digital key pool. but…
