Warlords of Draenor hits November 13. Preorder the Collector's Edition today, which includes soundtrack, artbook, and "epic" in-game content. [Warlords of Draenor CE]

message wasnt meant specifically aimed at just wow. just every. game. releasing. in. november. it's just insane. All these devs are expecting sales of a few million copies and get disappointed when they arent reached. there are 12 months in a year. pick one that isnt november to release a game.

For the love of all that is holy QUIT RELEASING YOUR DAMN GAMES IN NOVEMBER. Developers complaining about your lack of sales and then release in the same month as a bazillion other games. Please, Journalists... Beg, Plead, bribe, do whatever to makes these companies realize that there are 12 months in a year and not 1.

umm.. there were some 8-12 yr old kids who had used bday/chore/holiday money to go to the convention(and in some cases, paying for their parent's ticket too) that were affected by this. not every kid is spoiled by their parents.

honestly, Im only half interested in picking this up... only so it can match my MW2 360. Which is strange... because MW2 is about the only CoD I played. Not even a huge fan of the series. Just a sucker for special paint consoles.

but even the Crystal Dynamics announcement makes it seem like it is being a true exclusive and not a time one.

not really, when they presented it.. they didnt say "coming first to Xbox One". They said coming "exclusively to xbox one" like forza horizon 2, and sunset overdrive. So it seemed set in stone that there is no way the game is coming to other platforms.

so does fantasy flight automatically = good?

Mercenary kings on PS4, and some strider. on PC... jumping between Watch_Dogs and Crysis 3 since putting in my 6GB GTX 780. Needless to say, both games have poor visual optimizations.

what is the point of buying games at launch AND subscribing to a service like this?

aye, I think physical is slowly fading and subscription based service is slowly rising. For people who want physical(for install purposes only), they can order a physical copy for $10 - $20. If publishers add games to the service Day 1 they are available then the service will get costly very quickly. EA, Ubisoft,

thanks to the success of "Software as a Service"(SAAS), now publishers are going to start offering Games as a Service(GAAS(lol?)). Except with a bunch more restrictions. Rather than get the game Day 1 it is available for the subscription, you get the game delayed between release and service. This is going to expand as

but you didnt notice they completely dodged the question about how long after release before they add it to the service. if they never gave a time frame now.. down the line they could easily announce a 6month time frame between initial release and service release, which means you are always playing games that are

Im just talking the additions in the future. not the offerings in the start.

I would assume the "time limit" is built into the file. So it already knows when to expire.

but if the titles are being added some 6 months after release(just a guess on time frame), would you really play $30 a year for a game that is essentially "old" at that point(and most of which are sports games).

gabe has said that there wont ever be plans for source 2 simply because source was created to be upgradeable in future. there may never "officially" be a source 2, but I would imagine them upgrading certain parts of source over time.

Shane, not directly related to anything on here... but getting hold of a Shield Tablet has been quite the journey. Last resort will be ordering from Newegg... but the item keeps disappearing from best buy and amazon. local microcenter has 1, but I checked yesterday and it was the floor model they have yet to take out

this a thing now? porting last gen games to next gen consoles? I swear... people are going to walk into their game store one day and just see the next gen shelf look exactly like the game shelves of 5 years ago. 5 years later and still being sold the same games.
