"We built a platform for gamers. Gamers invest their time and their money in the things they want to play, and they're going to invest their time in telling us what they love about the platform, and they're giving us feedback on areas where they have more critical feedback.

except their isnt anything hidden behind a subscription. I still fail to see how EQN even has a sub. EQN doesnt even offer an option for a subscription. So even if you wanted one, there isnt one.

think I have seen someone also confirm the 29th for the gamers in the AU.

EQN is completely free to play, even being advertised as such. When released, it will be free to download, free to start playing, and free to continue playing. Their model is no different than LoL's.

isnt Divekick on vita as well this week?

they never had permission in the first place. they could pursue this path, but it would take some work before they can resume printing(if they could actually come to an agreement). in the meantine, they are going to deal with orders people placed.

eh, your right. I misread. my bad. still a quality of life improvement for the game though. this project was never in any danger of being completed from the beginning.

This is a case of people only watching the video and failing to read. Kickstarter page only says they ask for $100k to make a figure. Everyone on the project is volunteering extra time to make the game happen. This game would have still happened even if no one backed, so the point of the kickstarter is almost lost.

tl;dr Game is short, but with high replayability! it's game you like to play again and again because it is fun and to discover new things every time!.

MMOs are trying to move away from the WoW style gameplay, because even when you do have that many keys you end up hitting the same 4-5 buttons in a rotation during a fight. So it does the developer any good to flood your screen with 40 keys most of which are very situational or only used out of combat when they can

One thing Mr Fahey may have missed out on with Rallying Calls is that they play out over long periods of time(like a month to 3 months) and they play out completely different from server to server. How server X built the fort or city will be a different story than how server Y did it. Not only that, but everyone on

they mentioned the game having around 40 classes. a lot more than 40 skills. with the ability to mix and match skills from different classes to create your own custom class.

same as it is in PS2 with user created content being the main focus of their business model. Win/Win for both parties, as users can come up with items much better designed that SOE can and the user makes money everytime their item sells.

seeing as this game looks to be built from the ground up for free-to-play, dont see that happening. They will just be like every other free-to-play MMO where they just charge for weapon/armor/hat skins, with the player created content supplementing that. With user created content being the main focus and monetizing it.

things change in developement, or at least should. A lot of developers dont have the luxury that Blizzard does. So sometimes they need to make a decision and stick with it. Blizzard can see when something isnt working and find a way to fix it. In this case, they found it better to have a set back of a couple years

Ok, Both Xbox One and PS3 have Blu Ray movie capabilities yet Xbox One doesnt have HDCP and PS4 does? Someone else get the feeling that there is something else missing here?

umm, english version comes out next week. you can import that a lot sooner than waiting for the euro version.

seeing as both systems it runs on are region free, what is stopping you from importing it?

All these reviewers playing Dragon's Crown and I need to wait til next week to play :( bah, sucks being a consumer.
