I never said people shouldn't be flexibile in their roles. In fact, understanding every other team member's role and having an overlapping working knowledge of skill sets is extremely high on my list of characteristics of what makes a great team. It's like a baseball team. Each position from Pitcher to Right Field has

yes. airdroid on an android can link to web.airdroid.com on a tablet's browser and vice versa.

One of the most important characteristic in a team, in my opinion, is everyone having a clearly defined role. Maybe this can be filed under the strong leadership characteristic, but even then, that's often where roles are not clearly defined.

and an image of only skinny attractive people with white skin is the kind of image you want to promote instead?

Drawing that line between essential and non-essential can be hard. Dental cleaning every 6 months? You're not going to fall over and die if you don't. You could go years without visiting the dentist. But, not going could cost you more in the long run. Same could be said about a lot of things.

clean and simple. you can make notes and prioritize. Most importantly, you can add items from other sites using the bookmarklet or just jot down an idea for something you want to search for later.

for kids, band-aids are great for psychological reasons. but they only need to stay on for about 5 minutes. Cheap ones work great, especially if you draw on them or add a sticker. I worked many years at a summer camp and many years on search and rescue. I've seen a huge variety of wounds and I can count on one hand

the exception being the Nexus line of tablets. Top notch products for bargain prices.

I don't use bandages like this personally. I think they a kinda worthless to begin with. A wound that is sized for this type of product is just too small to bother doing anything about. Anything bigger and a simple bandaid isn't going to do it. That said, if you do use them, you'll get the most benefit from them if

look at the package, it even says "cheese product". it doesn't even claim to be real cheese

I agree with this except if you get a non-stick pan. The $5 version has exactly the same lifespan as the $200 version and don't notice much difference in heat distribution and retention these days. The technology has trickled down remarkably well.

I go through a single roll of paper towels in about 5 years. They get used for the occassional greasy recipe or sometimes to clean a CD/DVD or glass surfaces that simply can't have lint. It amazes me seeing people in the checkout aisle at costco with two enormous packages of paper towels. I couldn't use that much in 3

Save your cash and install a bidet.

I have to disagree. a brand new nail clipper at $0.99 is sharp and remarkably effective. The problem is they get dull over time and you never replace it until it gets lost. Something in the $3 range is just as good but also dulls just as quickly.

Or the mother that got arrested for leaving her child hanging out in the car for a few minutes while she ran into the store.

excellent post. a rational look at real vs perceived risk.

I advise caution going with a floor model for battery powered electronics. The rechargable battery is probably going to be thrashed from weeks or months of overcharging. If you get a deep enough discount to get a new battery and still save money or can get them to throw in a free replacement battery, go for it.

I don't know what you mean by "EITC" but a substantial amount of money to a poor person would be spent on food and shelter first. most aren't poor because they have "no idea how to handle money". you sound like you approach the problem from a position of privilege and make sweeping stereotypes and conclusions. You

except it's simply not true. the poor stay poor because the economic system is designed to keep them more poor. the rich stay rich because the economic system is designed to make them more rich.

your imagination is too limited.
