I never realized that so many normal people had plows until I moved to Denver. I'm still a bit confused about what the point is? Is it just for their driveways or something? Seems like an awfully big modification/accessory just for clearing your driveway once a week.

Okay, that makes sense directed towards the OP. He was the one saying American is better. I was saying that when it comes to compact or midsize, the import seems to be beating domestic right now (regardless of where they're manufactured).

I know what you mean! I love my Xterra, but I'm pretty much right at 17-18mpg as well. Pretty much all the trucks/SUVs in that segment are at the same mpg. If they can increase that they're really set themselves apart. It's my only gripe with the Xterra, and I'm sure most people feel the same.

Why is that relevant? The Titan and Tundra are also built in the US. But the OP was questioning why anyone would buy a truck from a non-American manufacturer. If he was only concerned about where it was actually being built, then I don't think any full-size truck would be off the market (I think they're all made in

American full-size trucks are world class, but what if you don't want something that big? In my opinion, the Canyon/Colorado doesn't hold a candle to the Frontier or the Tacoma.

It's really cool. But $26k? Give me a break.

Yeah, we Americans don't have a lot of patience for anyone going slow, whether they're pulling a trailer or not. I'd say maintaining 65mph on a steep incline is bare minimum.

"75% done" means "I ran into a problem that is hard to solve, or is expensive to solve." They did all that work and just gave up? Does not bode well for what it will take to finish it.

I've never understood why people don't wear them. What good is it doing you? It's not like it's an inconvenience, and it dramatically improves your chances of surviving a car accident.

Yup. Even when I was a smoker, I wouldn't smoke in my car. Lowers resale, the smell will never come out, and even if it doesn't bother you it will bother your passengers.

Honestly, I'd think you'd be better off with just a well-kept '77 that isn't trying to pretend to be something else. But this isn't horrendous, and about as cheap as you can get a 911 (I think), so NP!

At $800 you can't really go wrong.

Which is why it's so smooth!

In response to #9: firing order isn't always the same as that. Different engines have different orders. It might be slightly misleading because to some people it might imply all inline engines go in that order.

Agreed. That's not a particularly desirable engine, especially not for something like this.

Yup, I've actually seen it before! Very nice!

I don't even want to think about how many spiders are living in that thing...

Yeah, I think we've all (the Jalopnik readers) decided to ignore "OBO" or what we think they'd actually sell it for, because that would dramatically complicated things. It'd be way easier to devolve into an argument about how much we think the seller would let it go for. So it's easier to just to assume their asking

I rode in the back of a BMW 7 series, which was crazy comfortable. I never realized how big they were entire I was sitting in what was practically a recliner in the back of one.

It's nice, but I put CP. I don't know much about these, so maybe I'm off base, but that just seems like a lot.
