The Boys is all about tearing down false idols, but it doesn’t build up anything in their place.

I watched the first episode last night and to my surprise it was actually pretty good.

Unfortunately it’s not getting episodic coverage, which is par for the course here at the ye ole A.V. CLUB.

Just saw the first episode and this was by far the best superhero show, movies included, I have seen in years. And yes I can’t stand the MCU or DCU. I hate the superhero genre. This is exactly what I needed - a more realistic look at them.
