One of the biggest and worst failings of social media in general is the outright incapability, willful and otherwise, to regulate their own platforms effectively. Part of the reason Twitch even started featuring other kinds of streaming content that wasn’t exclusively about gaming was because there wasn’t enough money

Having never been touched like that by a woman before, it was all he could do to prematurely eject her.

Unlike anything of Monique’s in the last 10 years, I watched it though - along with millions of people across the world. I feel like that matters to Netflix.

Why are we shouting that Tesla “let” the driver do anything? Is the licensing process for operating these machines that meaningless now? As someone licensed for the privilege to drive cars on public roads (yes, it’s a privilege and should be regarded as such) everyone should be fully aware of their responsibilities

Yes.

[That is too many minutes, no matter how good the minutes are.]

This is where I’m at. Hov is always playing chess. There’s more to this, and I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Perhaps I’m naive, perhaps I believe that the ends will justify the means. Does Jay-Z pull the ultimate okee-doke and bring out Colin at a halftime performance? Does Jay-Z use X percent of the profits to go right back into black empowerment, injustice, or getting more seats at more tables, dare I say the making our

Yea the talking out of both sides of your mouth part of this is completely grating. I hadn’t heard of this person before but the quickest internet search is only glam photos and low cut boob shots. So she shouldn’t “jokingly” refer to herself as a titty streamer, she should very much understand that’s what she does

The whole thing is a takedown of the wealthy and powerful, to the point where omnipotent beings working in conjunction with a malevolent all-powerful corporation basically have carte blanche

It’s not nearly as pessimistic as I thought it was going to be.

Hmmm. This article misses a lot of what makes The Boys worth watching. The writer claims the show has nothing to say yet the entire show is a massive takedown of celebrity culture and celebrity worship. These ‘heroes’ are mouthpieces and puppets for branded images, they have no agency, are stopped from doing anything

The Boys is all about tearing down false idols, but it doesn’t build up anything in their place.

I watched the first episode last night and to my surprise it was actually pretty good.

Unfortunately it’s not getting episodic coverage, which is par for the course here at the ye ole A.V. CLUB.

CanCan we get some more original reviews on this show?  I've really enjoyed it so far, but all I read is that it has nothing to say.  Not my impression at all

Just saw the first episode and this was by far the best superhero show, movies included, I have seen in years. And yes I can’t stand the MCU or DCU. I hate the superhero genre. This is exactly what I needed - a more realistic look at them.

PREMISE

Maverick is a defense test pilot now. Since the FAA permits private-sector flyers up to the age of 65, his age is no big deal. Some vague middle eastern power NOT IRAN OKAY GUYS COME ON gets up to something, and Maverick is recruited to run some kind of small aerial infiltration. The enemy air force will

You’re right. People think it’s to make some extra buck. Really? Watch Dogs must be a 50 to 100 Million dollar project, if not more. Maybe they could give a bit more than 20000$, on this I would agree. But these 10 tracks won’t be the entirety of the soundtrack. It’s not the 90s anymore, games have often more than

Isnt it safe to say that ubisoft, one of the largest devs in the world with thousands of people working on their games, arent doing this to save a buck? I really cant fathom how this is exploitative, especiallty when the modding community has existed as long as games have. Obviously its a promotional ploy, but I think
