Because every gun was once legal. The way a legal gun becomes illegal is a legal owner loses it, sells it to someone they shouldn’t, or gets it robbed from them, or one of those dealers who would never break the rules, breaks the rules. The problem is the guns, because clearly the people who are “responsible owners

This book is the most over hyped thing I have ever read with the most boring characters ever put to paper.

I hope they change something because the characters in this book were as devoid of personality as possible.

Agreed, and Art3mis is one of these small time niche celebrities. But like you see Ninja on Twitch can stream with Drake and break Twitch records, no one is walking around with Ninja clothing, or styling their avatar after Ninja. So the reflection of pop culture on people may not be the same in this world.

A comment from 20 years prior, people change. Now you have Jeff Sessions, hope that worked out for you. Bernie Sanders never had a chance at winning.

Its a book about a treasure hunt, the person who wins the treasure hunt when the whole world is looking is probably not the guy who knows something about he once read somewhere on the internet.

There isn’t an obsession with pop culture because of the OASIS. Only the people on this hunt which is a tiny fragment of all people plugged in to the OASIS world wide, and they are only interested in the pop culture that Halliday was interested in. Most people are just living their dream lives in the OASIS, in a world

This EA cutting their loses, probably won’t be any DL or additional content unless previously announced.

She didn’t mean it as an actual nobody. Again she is from house Mo’Kai and bearing the first successful species reassignment success. She was also T’Kuvma’s second which they were aware. She also served under Kol when he captured Cornwall and spread the cloaking tech.

She is not a nobody, you weren’t paying attention to the story. That apparently is the disconnect.

Not to excuse what he did, but I don’t read this as a terrible boss. This guy is facing closure of his studio and all of these people not having a job in a very short period of time. Again, I don’t think what he did is right, but I read that email as more of desperation than trying to force employee’s to buy product,

L’Rell was not just someone making a random claim. They were standing there with their spy, full transformed, and apparently escaped from the Federation with a weapon that can destroy their home world. I would argue Ash’s presence provided additional proof that L’Rell was the real deal.

-Tilly’s little Sieg Heil salute once she realizes Georgiou is Emperor Georgiou made me laugh.

Who is the witness and proof of these crimes? The Federation is not going back to her universe anytime soon on purpose. They aren’t going to drop her off back there, or shuttle witnesses for a trial back and forth ... They can’t really jail her, and didn’t have time to consider how with an imminent invasion on Earth

That’s exactly the argument the admiral makes to L’Rell. That the Klingons aren’t asking for anything, that they are basically betting who can slaughter more of the Federation. The wiped out all Federation members from the base they showed up at and scanned.

I think you are misjudging how Klingons work, she doesn’t have to do a press run. She can easily say she stole that device from the Federation and has strategically placed the bomb where it would destroy the home world. Also I would think the people in that room would keep their mouths shut that at any moment their

Why would the plans need to be public? Only the knowledge of Discovery’s work to end the conflict would be needed, not every detail. They could even just leave out the bomb and say the put in place a new leader who would unite the Klingons and give the Federation a truce in exchange.

I didn’t think people actually read Twitch chat, its like reading bot spam on an IRC channel.

Correct, that is what I was referencing. its $13 and you get a free book a month. Considering the cheapest audiobook I have received was $20+ it works out. I can’t imagine people buying audiobooks off Google for $20+ each when they can at least get the first for $13 every month.

Needs a subscription service. The cost of Audiobooks can be outrageous. Audible has the right idea, I can’t believe many people are buying audio books one at a time.
