It's so great! Although I like anything and everything he does so I could be a bit biased, but I stand by it!

It's hard to choose my favourite since everything they do is blissful gold to me.
It really is like the perfect culmination of everything they've ever done into a completely focused and confident record. People who write Deftones off don't know what they're missing.
Fair call, I see what you mean. Have you tried removing it from a playlist and seeing if that helps it play through better? The back half of the album is amazing and it's a shame if you're pulling out before you get to it.
Love Deftones, love the album, they're on the top of their game and I can't get enough. Rubicon is possibly my favourite song of the year and in 2016 that's saying something!
Best live gig I saw this year too, hands down.
Big shout outs to the writers and everyone here in the comments for your awesome and varied recommendations throughout the year!
So it's on record, in no particular order, my favourite albums of 2016:
"We're not gonna make it!!"
"You are!"
*blows hatch*
Yes you do.
It's a gas!
Lousy dean.
Yeah nah, i'm 33. I guess i'm just a dreamer instead of realist.
My dreams… they're ruined!
Even just one "!" would've given it some real punch and made it a completely valid and reasonable response.
Maybe it's hard to focus on punctuation when you're taking a shit on your toilet made of gold?
Oh she knows what she's done.
I love weird shit like that in a live broadcast. I'm always wondering who's calling these shots then making sure the affiliates don't freak out in the control rooms around the country and what the process is for all of that. I've seen a control room on the NBC tour and I wanted to go in there and press all the buttons.
…
He could've shortened "Saturday Night Live" to just "SNL" and fit way more exclamation marks in after "Sad". Unbelievable.
Mikey Day has so much potential, his confidence and energy is bubbling right under the surface. I dunno, I like him.
Paranoid Android.
I feel like another Working Dog show Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures also throws 200 jokes at you every 30 minutes and it's just up to you how many make you laugh. Personally, I laugh at all 200 so i'm still looking forward to seeing this.
(And the newly announced Russell Coight series slated for next year!)
