One of those things is more willfully destructive than everything else in the chain. Maybe the drunk driver never gets pulled over and still crashes that night, but probably not. Maybe he flips his car while fleeing the scene, but probably not. Drunk driving didn’t flip that car, a PIT maneuver did.

Let the nutjobs who want to kill your kids be on one side, and the nutjobs who don’t want to kill your kids be on the other side, and then let the super smart, sane centrists who only want to kill some of your kids be in the middle.

I can smell the Axe spray from my computer screen.

I heard there was some commotion at the wall but it turns out it was just a drill.

How has someone not posted this Calvin and Hobbes strip yet?

T-Rex is unrelated to crocodiles; look at how parrots preen each other for a T-Rex relative.

You’re telling me you don’t want to see Nigel Thornberry... Smashing?

Supra Mk4 was over rated before The F&F movies.

I’m willing to step on this grenade: the Chevrolet Cavalier. Never the best or most refined, it was inexpensive and reliable and ran forever, and if you needed another one there were tons of cheap ones to choose from. The ultimate cockroach of the road, as it were.

The Chevy Volt - it should have been a game changer - one of the first PHEVs with real useable electric range (I recall that even the first generation from 2010 had an all electric range of about 30 miles that equals a lot of PHEVs today).

The biggest problem with a “both sides” argument is that it incorrectly implies the scales are equal. Can you find Democratic politicians willing to lie in bed with corporations? Yes. But they’re about as easy to find as a Republican politician who isn’t.

Here’s the thing.

Nuance: I recognize that both parties are problematic due to the problems inherent in a two-party political system, however one side is at least doing the bare minimum of actually running on policy that “might” help people, while the other side literally funded an attempted coup.

We are living in a time when I feel it is honestly a little reckless to always insist on throwing in ‘well the Dems are bad too’ to every conversation about Republican corruption. While yes, there are bad Dems, to compare the volume and degree of corruption as if they are close is an exercise in excusing Republicans.

Specifically being hired on in spite of their shady practice when they were in office, suggesting that the company either hopes to capitalize on their already demonstrated “grey” morals and political contacts, or that it is some kind of reward for something they did in the past.

which eventually devolves into arguing about how worse the republicans are, despite the opposite never being said, lol

Such as?

They’re just making up animals. What are they going to use next, a Puma?
