I’m slowly turning onto EVs but hot damn that sound the motor makes when accelerating sounds straight space age. And I love it.

Note to self: read the article closer next time. Ignore please.
...are those fake exhaust tips? Really? Why. I hate the trend of fake exhaust tips so much, but on EVs it’s infinitely more stupid. Just leave them off.
Oh I know about the Type R - I also own one. Although, I cannot say my transmission is buttery smooth - it mostly is, but I have a fair bit of notchiness and crunchiness in mostly the even gears, and in particular 2nd gear.
I bet that was driving the passengers really batty.
Type R or Veloster N?
4Runners are cool though. F-250s and Silverado HDs ain’t, unless you actually need them to do something (which most people don’t).
As an owner, I would say if I try hard enough I can get to 60 in about 5 1/2 seconds. But that’s with me exercising some caution, such as not dumping the clutch between shifts or on launch, not yanking the shifter as fast as it will go into 2nd (you’ll grind it anyways). You’ll still have wheel hop to contend with no…
We need more rain on F1 races. This was the best race of the season. So much action, so much carnage, and just a fun time overall.
BeamNG is one of my favorite early access purchases. I’ve logged over 150 hours on it.
Pennsylvania friends! I moved to PA just about a year ago now, and I actually enjoy it quite a bit, except for how shitty the roads are (potholes EVERYWHERE). My favorite thing about PA is no front plate. I came from NJ and when I bought my Type R I opted to not even rock a front plate because I knew I was gonna be…
You really gotta wonder - how much longer will automakers keep offering these? I could see the Mustang and Camaro losing the stick. It seems like only certain cars do well with it, namely hot hatches and the Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86.
The Stinger definitely looks better, but I’ve heard the G70 drives better (in both configurations). Either way, I think both of them would be a better value than the Caddy here.
I think I want a Genesis G70 more over this though.
I think the west coasters (specifically California) are more excited about Tesla reveals than anything GM will put out.
I bought mine for $34.9K back in March of 2018. It’s gotten 18542 miles on it now. It’s an amazing car that will make anyone who thinks FWD is a limiting factor suddenly see that FWD can be very good.
I kinda dig it. How come they can’t do one for the Tacoma? Lord knows the TRD Pro could use a bit more pizazz anyways.
Any other issues otherwise with it? The transmission seems to be the biggest [serious] issue this car has.
I occasionally peruse Acurazine and one of the things I’ve noted is that it definitely seems 2018+ TLXes do not have the same type of transmission issues with the ZF9 as prior models.
