Clinton Honda and Hamilton Honda are both very good dealers. The only reason I didn’t use Hamilton for the third time was because they didn’t have a Type R coming in and Clinton did. I loved the size of Hamilton’s showroom. The service department at Clinton is very good too.

How does it handle? Car and Driver described the MDX as having “sporty” handling, which intrigued me. Does the hybrid give it extra oomph off the line or is it slower than the non hybrid?

I bought my 2018 Type R from Clinton Honda. Agreed to sell at MSRP, no funny business, only spent about 90 minutes after arriving to pick it up. Fantastic sales experience.

Yes, THANK you. There was so much excitement in this race, multiple times I was on the edge of my seat.

Honestly, I like the design of the new Jetta. It looks sharp. It looks interesting.

The new turbo Honda engines are amazing. I love my K20C1. But this little revving monster is definitely something that makes the naturally aspirated engines such a gem. Not practical to rev it up to sky on a daily basis, but just LISTEN to that sound!

I just want to be able to see around an intersection without having to be in it just because a freaking massive F-150 or other SUV is in the other lane blocking my view. Is that too much to ask?

CPO Volvo V60 Polestar? Definitely get a wagon if you can IMO, unless it’s like a Porsche SUV which is probably acceptable.

Best (and riskiest way) to learn how to drive stick is buy yourself a car with one. As your only vehicle.

The thief knew how to drive it? Usually the sight of a stick shift scares them away.

Honestly, I was able to do it, but learning how to drive a stick on my Type R may have better been accomplished by something like the Si instead. There’s a lot of power and I still chirp the wheels on occasion, and I’ve been driving stick for now over a year! Not to mention I still sometimes feel a small little jerk

So this would mean the Accord would be the last mid size sedan standing with a stick option, right?

What’s interesting is that in Europe, the Type R has the Honda Sensing stuff - as in those electronic driver aids such as collision mitigation breaking, lane keep assist, etc. , and it’s still only available with a manual transmission. So I think they can pull it off, but I doubt the returns would be worth the effort.

Welp, that’s depressing, I was holding out hope for maybe a 35-65 split on MT vs auto take rate, but guess I was wrong.

I’m curious, was the take rate on the manual C7's so low they dropped it entirely? I definitely feel like the MT would be a more popular option on it. Either that or GM is just sucking like GM does.

Worst trend ever

One of the biggest faults of my car is the fact it rides on 20s. TWENTY INCH RIMS. Why? Should’ve come with 18s. I would swap but I also really like the OEM design, not to mention there are no wheels with a +60 offset which helps mitigate torque steer.

Normally I have traded in the other cars I’ve owned within a year of each other. This time however, I did not feel the need nor desire to trade my current 2018 Civic Type R in. I know what I could trade it in for, and easily afford, but that isn’t the point. I feel a special bond with this car, and I feel proud to

With cars with paddles in them, I’ve never liked using them. To be honest, even if my [up]shifts aren’t perfected yet, I still get more satisfaction out of the manual then any automatic. Sometimes the jerks are even, dare I say it, fun.

They should replace the tear gas with liquid ass spray. As soon as the smell hits I bet the thieves will hightail it out of the car.
