No thank you, I’d rather not be subjected to either of those. Ever. I’ll take a Hyundai since I’m not finding a Honda in a rental fleet.

Does it evoke any emotion when driving it? Because the last Corolla rental car I drove made me insanely depressed.
Don’t care what anyone else says, the new NSX is an amazing performance bargain that is 100% daily drivable and still capable of unleashing it on demand. If I won a million dollars one of these would be in my driveway.
I’m a loyal Honda customer - all of my cars have been Hondas, all of them have also been Civics. I have never regretted trading any of them in for a newer one.
I want to throw an aftermarket exhaust on my Type R because the stock one is... well, it’s not BAD but I want it to sound a bit...deeper? Outside it sounds like whooshing with no note. The warranty thing has me a bit worried too, but I feel like the exhaust system is a fairly safe thing to mod...
Everyone says they want more manuals, but then they also refuse to buy new cars. Thus, we have less manuals.
My angry little FWD hatch has the moves to keep up with a lot of those AWD competitors, heck, even RWD ones. When done right, FWD is a blast. It also helps when the weather is bad out, as FWD isn’t as prone to having the rear end slide out as much unless you floor it on a patch of ice.
SUV coupes are a trend that need to die already.
Another Type R owner had the same thing happen to him not too long ago. Really something that sows distrust in dealerships, and they didn’t have a lot of trust to begin with.
Shifting with my car is miserable for the first few minutes when it’s super cold out. Sometimes I have to let it warm up for a few minutes to get the damn frost off the windshield too.
Crossovers are starting to grow on me. Not in the way that “OMG I NEED ONE NOW” but more like “OK, I can see why this is here now”. The new Passport, Kona, and this Audi are starting to change my perception a bit. And unfortunately, I don’t see the trend shifting back to cars anytime soon, so I guess I need to come to…
Fun wheel drive.
Neat! I always said that had Hyundai offered the i30N for sale in the ‘states around 2017ish I probably would’ve been in one of those instead of my Type R.
812 Superfast
Pretty looking! AWD should be an interesting option - almost sounds like they are gunning for the Subaru Impreza. I’ve always respected Mazda, although they are very overshadowed by the other big three Japanese manufacturers it seems.
Looks (relatively?) simple, but I don’t trust myself with no knowledge whatsoever to perform such maintenance on my $35K car. That’s pretty much my philosophy on why I really won’t mod my car either, or if I do, I would have someone else do it. Maybe if I had a cheaper car, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to try on…
You mean like the Civic Type R has but people consistently bag on?
I actually like the design of these; it’s a really good design IMO that’s held up over time.
Probably above all things, I want something that stands out and resonates with me.
Lexus has really good V8s. Ever since I heard one in a Head2Head video with an RC-F I was like “wow, that sounds fantastic.”
