The louder part was serious, the rest was a joke, :). But you also have valid points. usually the sounds are passive, gentle, not to upset anyone.

Oh you're so right, I'm sorry deaf people reading this.

Um...why now make it chime louder? The owners either can't hear it, don't care, or are idiots. Give it a semi-truck horn. Make it obnoxious. Make them want to turn it off.

The Road and Track site said it was cancelled, which I thought was weird. I did read the article but they gave nothing to prove it. I do know the series is postponed, for three episodes at least.

Other news sources keep saying the show is canceled, but I'm waiting for Jalopnik to confirm it first. Is TG official cancelled?

I'm a slow learner. It took me six times of getting in the crotch to catch on, :p.

Yep. I use to work in a Deli, and I know the customers loved me .I greeted them, i chatted with them, made them feel special, I even looked forward to meeting the usuals. I let one guy call me 'John' (my name is Josh), for a year and a half until I left. The guy was too awesome, I didn't even care he got my name wrong.

So, I'm moving from Florida to Michigan, in a PT Cruiser, with my wife, dog, and 1 month old daughter. It's a long trip, and many bathroom breaks had to be had, especially for the dog, Zeta. When she has to go, she whines, but there are also fake whines she does because she hates car rides or wants attention.

True. I look at those lots with no intention to buy.

Thanks! :).

Very true. But isn't it true that most reviews focus on the negative aspects ("my voice must be heard!", "X is horrible!" 0r "X is a bad place to shop.") as opposed to a good experience review? I may be thinking too hard about this, but I do approach reviews with a grain of salt, :/.

Is there any way for a buyer to gauge a dealership when they enter it? Stuff like this scares me if I get into a dealership of this nature, :/.

Simple, I don't know how. I grew up in a family where cars were just transportation. I've tried to at least understand how the car works, but if you point at the engine and ask what the part is, I'll have no idea.

I watched it happen live on tv. It was epic.

[a] Pontiac Torrent, which costs as much as a fluorescent lightbulb four-pack.

And I now have a new goal...

Wait a minute here, I'm curious to see it. It could be a 'its so bad it's good' type of movie.

Doug, may I ask why you support it?

Part of me wishes Im that awesome when I'm older.

Haha. I was thinking in terms of the crown vic, it doesn't look like much, but it does the job. I just really like the idea of a fun car that doesn't look like much.
