I like that part where no one gets into an accident.

This might be stereotyping, but it appears to be that *seemingly* light-hearted racism/stereotyping is rampant in British culture. Or its just Jeremy Clarkson being himself and the other hosts jump in on the joke. I've never been to Britain, so I can't confirm it. Does anybody know?

Well the first generation, from what I hear, wasn't all that good. The 2nd Gen, I think its pretty decent. I DD an '08 Crusier, its my only car, and its my first car. I bought it before I entered the world of cars, so I will admit I didn't know what I was getting myself into.

I won't deny I feel very iffy about GM vehicles, but not buying American is difficult in GM territory (i think) because dealers and parts are far and between from where i live. Which stinks because I would love to buy a foreign car and show it off to my GM loving in-laws.

Juggalos ruin everything.

I have to ask, ever been to Flint? or Detroit? There is a lot of unreasonable pride in American automakers because it helps keep Michiganders employed. Not my words, it was told that way to me. Plus, as a Michigander myself, I do take pride in whats made here (Better Made Chips, Faygo), but I personally can't take

Anything painted like the A-Team van.

No , no, no; you got it all wrong. That image was taken back in the early 1800s, they just added color to it. It's proof that the Ferrari has been around since forever. I think Moses drove one.

I remember being at the auto show when I first saw this. With it's arrow-like body, beautiful curves like a woman (um...I mean my wife), it's a body design that is physically appealing. I mean look at it! Ignoring the engine and internal parts, the car is a hands down head turner.

that's not silly, i can personally vouch for that. that stinks, because I had some really neat pictures of a abandoned '32 ford dump truck to share. I made the post and everything, posted it, then found out it was on my personal blog only :(

so this may seem silly, but how do I get authorship to post on Oppo?

Maybe if it was the indestructible Hilux that wouldn't of happened?

I love the color contrast there. black with neon blue stripes? gorgeous. the hood is awesome, but the rest of the car doesn't match the design :(

I would love a diesel, the idea of a car rotting around the engine is an idea that appeals to me. But I hear the oil changes are expensive. I am looking at used though, plus there's a greater variety of cars to choose from. I think i will post on the main page about this question, it'll be a decent first post. Now I

Those red lines around the grill.....those are drop, dead sexy.

I travel, every day, 40 miles in that car. Its mocking that the mpg for a hwy is *suppose to be* 24 and I know it could be better in a different car. Plus, in roughly a year, the car should be paid off since we put some of tax return to pay for it. I'm looking at used cars. I see nothing wrong with getting used.

I've been debating about doing that. Right now, I'm in the 'looking' period of car purchasing. Money is tight and I'm still paying for my first car, though I can always sell it to help even out a purchase, but that would be a decision that I'd most likely regret. So yeah, I'm seeing whats out there, unless the

I can't think of the most embarrassing, but I have one fresh in my mind. Last night I was at a men's bible study. Six guys were there, including my landlord, and the other half were guys that lived in my sub-division (i live on a campgrounds, a total of 15 house, less than half are inhabited at the moment). Anyways,

Yes I believe lower than invoice. And thanks for the rooting, I appreciate it. I purchased my current car, a used '08 PT Cruiser, auto base model, 36 miles, for $10k, paying for 6 years, no down payment, at $192/month. In Fort Myers, FL (i'm in MI now), believe it or not this was the cheapest car I could find. It

I think it also helps to have connections. My grandfather, who worked at GM for most of his life, has got his past 4 or 5 leases form the same dealership, from the same guy. When I started looking for a 2nd car, he recommended the same guy to me. Now, the cars there are a bit above what I'm comfortable paying. But the
