Seriously? I work at U of M and live 20 mins north of A2. Let me know if you want to grab coffee sometime. It'd be awesome to have a jezzie contact!

Totally nosey, but where in Michigan, dforce2?
No dogs = no problem. But I see what you mean. The problem I have is our cat doesn't care that you're naked. So thinks it's perfectly acceptable to head-butt you in the naughty bits, shove their paws on it, then somehow gets cat hair everywhere. Including "in there."
Agreed. I think I'm a borderline nudist. The older I get, the less I care about being naked. I ate dinner with my husband in my underwear yesterday. He thought I was insane, I told him I didn't see the point of putting on clothes since I was hot. (It was 84 outside).
Totally agreed. A few years back I had a really awful year where I lost my job 4 times and it was just a string of horrible luck. I once asked my best friend if it was me. As in, am I defective? She said, I don't know, I don't work with you. Then, I was actually sorta hurt. I was fishing for some support, and I…
I'll admit it. I'd sorta be the "anything goes parent." Not ANYthing, anything. I won't let my kid play in traffic or actual sewage, mind you. But I think kids are so freaking adorable when they're dirty. I love the lack of care that kids have for cleanliness. Like cleanliness only comes with adults and maturity.
The thing I don't like about Siri is I can give it a very basic command, "Call Michael" or "What's the weather tomorrow?" And it takes minutes... MINUTES before it processes, figures out WTF I just said, then goes to search for the answer or do the task. Meanwhile, I can pull my car over, press the contact book and…
The more I hear about mandated safety systems that all but drive for you, the more I just want to hold onto my current car with no/few safety features.
She should, but she's not obligated to. For example, when my husband is at the bar after work, having beers and getting tipsy, he is not only not obligated to, but not encouraged to help.
Indeed. Once you begin to give service, you cannot stop unless you're relieved by someone of the same or higher license level (the on-duty paramedics show).
There is no LEGAL obligation to stop and help unless you're on duty. My husband is a paramedic and he is not OBLIGATED by law to do anything UNLESS he is on duty at the time. Having a license in emergency medicine doesn't mean you're a slave to the populace when shit gets real. Of course, I'm not saying he wouldn't…
Lilo and Stitch were never romantic. They're just friends. Like a girl and her (very smart) dog. No princess there.
Hypoglycemia?
I use my Pinterest as a place to hold all the recipes I plan on doing. So I've done a lot of what's on my pages. But in general, I've noticed that people just repin, but don't really do anything with them. In particular, the food and recipes section has repins of pages which just have pictures of the food, but no…
It's sad most people don't realize that people on Pinterest don't actually DO any of the stuff they repin. They just see something cool and repin it. Pinterest is just like Facebook for people who love to hit the "share" button.
I understand when events get out of hand and property damage or injury occurs, the college is often held accountable. However, the response to this is to take actions so property damage or injury doesn't occur. The correct response is NOT to banish the event and somehow deem those who participate as bad (or worse)…
It seems like the administration needs to stop getting their underwear in a knot over this. Kids do crazy stuff in college. Kids do tons of drinking and other stuff in college that colleges can't do anything about. I think the college should focus on some other things which are more important.
Won't somebody call 911? She's obviously having a seizure.
This. I take pics of food (rarely). But when I do, it's mostly because I made the food and I'm pretty darned proud of it.
