Had a salesperson try to convince me that I didn't know how to drive a stick. I drove up in a manual car. He insisted that I didn't know what I was talking about when I asked to drive a certain car in manual. I walked out.

I'm on an IBR plan, my husband makes about 30k more than me per year. You file as married, filing separately and the federal loans only take your income into account. If I was married, filing jointly, I'd be paying almost quadruple what I am now.

You obviously haven't seen the inside of my car. I'd wager it's cleaner than 90% of the guys' cars here. After a few years of HPDE's, you learn not to keep anything in your car if you have to be prepared to remove it quickly. So I just don't carry much in there.

It's amazing how much a test drive can tell you. I loved the Focus ST on paper. I loved the pictures. I test drove it and HATED it. It's amazing how fast you can go from loving a car, then once you experience it, you hate it. I cannot recommend an actual test drive enough.
