My first thought was that he’s done a good job explaining why this show sucks.

There’s basically no instance where animation can be transposed into live action. The closest you get is something like Speed Racer, which is a masterpiece, but clearly does not look or move or feel like anything else and is essentially a cartoon with human actors in it. Or you get Scooby Doo, which only works because

I liked the first sequel, because it was basically the same creature, but a unique version of it, placed in a different environment, with different tools.

Gal Gadot also confirmed to THR that Lynda Carter will indeed have a larger role in Wonder Woman 3.

Have you watched Kingdom on Netflix? That’s a lot of fun, and has some interesting ideas when it came to its zombies — they’re rather ingeniously incorporated into political machinations regarding the line of succession, and there are a couple nice twists about how they work. The setting of Korea, c. 1600 switches

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but Army of Thieves was actually kind of a decent popcorn movie. It had a great lead actor who stole every scene, a pretty good female lead, some fun heists, and a few well-earned laughs. It was perfectly fine. So, I guess my point is that it’s okay to give Zack Snyder some money

Yeah, holy shit that is a fucking terribly constructed sentence.

It’s sad, really. I remember when this site would have taken something like Hawley’s asinine comments and produced something both scathing and insightful. Those days are long gone, sadly, but I miss them.

Is it just me, or is this article really stretching to shoehorn the Kardashian/Davidson story into the Hawley story, to the point where some passages barely make sense?

Josh Hawley is just describing what HE does in HIS off-time.

As for Pete Davidson? He’s only popular because of his dick.

I’m glad I caught you at home. We’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty.

I’m just gonna laugh like Phil Ken Sebben and high-five all around!

And now, the brains of the outfit:

Midnight Special is just random things happening with no hint of an explanation, but slowly so it seems important and meaningful.

For people with no power, they sure seemed to prove that they do. They got the media covering this issue, op eds, Netflix CEO to apologize, and I’m quite sure a lot of people are thinking about it.

And if The Dune Encyclopedia is to be believed, Baron Harkonnen and Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam are Jessica’s birth parents. The Reverend Mother might not be through with her revenge on the Baron.

Yeah I love that.

It gets a bit funny in Dune Messiah, when they start talking with the Tleilaxu.

It’s just such an off the wall comment, ie “What? Hannah Gadsby?” that it really seems he just is delighting in getting people riled up.
