Things I loved: The Nancy and Steve chemistry returning. I actually really enjoyed Jonathan becoming a stoner because his character always bored the heck out of me and was pretty creepy since Season 1, so giving him something to do other than be intense and weird was a nice touch.

As someone who figured out the twist three episodes in, I don’t blame a carefully constructed story for being predictable. I don’t get upset that a show respects my intelligence. It was a good twist, within the context of the story it was wonderfully executed, and it was emotionally intense at every level.

Same disappointment. The way they’ve switched the personalities around makes little sense. In the show, Marc is still a mercenary who has killed a ton of people for money, which he readily acknowledges in the scene with all the people he killed. In the comics, Marc trying to deal with his violent tendencies is central

Jake was the normal guy. A cabbie that hung out at the diner.

A+ on costuming.

I do have to give Our Flag Means Death a try. I have to admit the trailer did not hit with me, and it felt a little forced. But trailers do not always capture things right.

I’m disappointed in you writing [REDACTED] instead of [NOPE].

They’d do well to pretend Herbert the Younger’s expanded universe doesn’t exist.

Raitas of the Lost Ark.

I don’t know what to tell you; I don’t vote for Democrats because I’m excited about Democrats. I vote for Democrats because I’m reasonably certain that continued Republican rule would invariably result in a *continued* slide into a cartoonish hyper-capitalist white Christian police state, followed closely by the violen

You know, you can save a lot of words with “I’m a moron”. I realize “Who cares about fascism when it’s the Democrats doing it?” is close, but just consolidate, man.

You could take position that those things don’t really matter, no like [insert your pet issue here], but that’s just moving the goalposts. Bottom line: saying Joe Bide has done “nothing” he said he would is inaccurate on its face; it is a lie.

Can’t wait to read all the blame Dem takes when Republicans pass the fascist shit they’ve been pulling in their states federally. Nothing is ever y’all’s fault.

it's pretty clearly taking heavy influence from Jeff Lemire’s run on Moon Knight which used the mental hospital as a reason to get some truly powerful insights into Marc as a character. not to mention the whole cliffhanger into hospital reality felt very Legion. I’d say those are much clearer reference points here

LISTEN, KID! I’ve been hearing that crap ever since I was at UCLA. I’m out there busting my buns every night! Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes!

Yes, what’s next, an article about how evil dirty men are keeping poor helpless bimbos out of the pyramid scheme industry?

Difference is those tech bros are busy creating tech instead of just showing up after the fact to flash their tits like their sex appeal gives them an automatic seat at the table they didn’t bother to earn.

Can we also finally admit that Kate McKinnon, although very talented, might be a tad overrated versus a criminally underrated and far more versatile Cecily Strong? Kate’s Fauci and Giuliani impressions sound exactly alike, with neither sounding anything remotely like the men she’s supposedly imitating. And on that

The SEC just needs to outfit the yarpie prick with a shock colour that, whenever he does shit like this, hits him with 50,000 volts.

I’m all in for the Reeves version.
