It’s mostly about the controller. (This comment is based on my general understanding of the NES; I don’t know how Tetris specifically is implemented.)

It sounds like background music for a 90s JRPG boss battle.

It’s honestly harder to get their attention than it is to not get their attention, unless you’re intentionally attacking civilians.

I did some more reading, and no, that’s not the case. The game was originally published by Activision, and later by Bethesda. Only the Activision version included Quake II.

I played the demo on 360 around 2010 or so. Even at that point it felt like a lazy port of a PC game.

Yeah I don’t understand Egypt’s endgame here. Surely replacing the ship and reimbursing customers for the cargo on board would be much cheaper than $1 billion.

I played the Xbox 360 port of the first game and loved it. Not many FPS games with both huge open environments and good stealth mechanics.

I’d also recommend

Yeah, news to me that there’s a Ghostbusters theme other than the (plagiarized) one by Ray Parker Jr.

What’s weird is that you think national identity, lionizing one’s own country, and fetishizing violence against other countries are all the same thing (and that you don’t think there’s anything wrong with said fetishization).

I wasn’t replying to Titler, I know he was being facetious.

So about that guy...

Can an indie developer make a IP-less Sonic Adventure 3?

Stopsigncam’s stream title says it all: “98.73% of vehicles don’t stop.” That’s almost certainly an estimate, but if you watch the stream, it really is incredible how few drivers stop—or even pretend like they’re maybe going to do a halfhearted roll-through stop.

So basically “jingoism is OK and every country should accept their own version of it”? Weird take.

But physical media isn’t the savior so many think it is.

For starters, physical games are often expensive and hard to access. Many games become scarce. Over time, game carts and discs can become valuable collector’s items, making it harder for many folks to track down a copy, let alone afford it. And that’s assuming

“Produce a source” relax dude I already acknowledged that I was mistaken

Seems like I was wrong, yeah. Thought I remembered Crystal Dynamics saying that back when Avengers was in development but I guess not. Can’t find any articles about it from reputable sources.

Two completely different developers who aren’t in cooperation.

It’s weird, right?
