Well the games definitely haven’t been monolithic. There were some that followed the Goldeneye model, some that aped whatever shooter was big at the time, like Halo 2 or Call of Duty 4, or Blood Stone which was basically Uncharcted 007.
I would argue that the continued interest in James Bond games isn’t so much about the movies as it is about nostalgia for older James Bond games. Goldeneye being the major focus, of course, but also Nightfire to a lesser extent.

I think this is probably the real answer. The vast majority of the original Xbox’s interesting games were multiplatform (including on Windows), are backwards compatible on modern Xbox consoles, and/or have been ported to other platforms.
