The article header photo is from when LowSpecGamer set the resolution to low but left anti-aliasing on.

Pretty sure the nudity in this game is purely a publicity stunt.

Someone stole my Xbox Live account once and bought a few games with my Microsoft Points (yeah, it was that long ago). When I reported it to Microsoft they refunded the points and told me I could keep the games for the trouble.

Yeah, almost forgot about that. It’s not too bad during normal gameplay, but it definitely got a raised eyebrow from me in the character creator.

As a person with good vision, the makeup and hair color selection were terrible for me too. +1 to the colors they showed in the menu looking nothing like how it actually appears on your character.

Now can we get the hammer-on-shield slam from the first Avengers movie?

I know this is a much more minor issue, but I hope a future update lets you adjust the safe zone. I’m playing on Xbox and occasionally the game puts text along the top of the screen and half of it is cut off.

I had a couple issues with the character creator:

I assume you’re familiar with this: https://kotaku.com/the-sad-story-behind-a-dead-pc-game-that-cant-come-back-1688358811

Same. I get that it’s a pun but...what? Is there anything to the joke beyond that?

I’m an on and off player and after reading this I’m still lost on why you need to rebuy shaders at all.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

I think this article misremembers the history. DLC in general was never a panacea.

San Francisco was a reasonable video gamified facsimile of the real thing. What I didn’t understand was why include other parts of the Bay Area if you’re not even going to bother fleshing them out? Folding Mountain View/Palo Alto into one city and the entire East Bay into Oakland is understandable, but they were still

While I believe you that they are very distinct, I’ve seen a handful of both and found neither very palatable as a modern viewer. A lot of it just has to do with how movies in general have changed; both the sound mixing and the way actors talked back then make it kind of difficult to understand what’s going on.

No one was harmed in the collapse.

Yes, it’s confirmed to be soloable, but it’s not out yet.

Agreed, it’s a very underexplored genre.

Like what?

Honestly, as much as I like Red Dead Online, a Western gets old after a while.
