Checks out. I keep my two cars (and four bicycles and some tools and holiday decorations) in an insulated three car heated garage that is definitely better than many folks lack of a home at all. It’s a mismatch and inequity from bottom to top.

That’s not a private jet experience.

What’s with mask? Doesn’t he know the Thetans (or lack of Thetans, I can’t remember) will protect him from Covid?

Nah, that’s more Hammond’s jam.

They just rip your shorts off. Embarrassing!

“$15k for a 63 HP car is worth it”. This, in comparison to a chiang Li is a true statement.

Whoa. That’s a lot of miles. I have 50k miles on my 2009 135i. I take it you have a gnarly commute?

It still looks really, really nice.

No, greenhouse effect is a hoax. It’s hot in your car because a member of the vast left wing science cabal broke in and heated it up.

A couple of years ago I wanted to get into a proper automotive hobby: spend $6-7k on a 500 Abarth and go auto crossing or buy a $3000 1997 Grand Cherokee with 150k miles and get back into four wheeling.

Damn. I have a Peugeot bicycle which I adore, but a good peppermill. I think I would buy anything with the Peugeot name so this is the test. The 508 drives nice, though.

Uh, no. Sure, I done hate slushboxes and actually like DCTs,  but that progressive torque band and quintessential straight six smoothness screams for the manual.

These cars are effectively free. Look online. They are great, and I adore my twin turbo 135i, but they are selling for next to nothing. Get one if you want one!

You’re not wrong, but you know that a 300 HP twin turbo 135i goes for like $14k these days. In fact, you can have MY 135i with 50k miles for $14k.

Tastes like dirt. So it was better. To this day they take the water for Banquet beer out of a well and put it straight into the wort. No purifying, just granite laced spring water that’s sterilized, like all beers, by the boiling process.

They are still useful. Truckers still use them and are willing to share their recon on traffic, highway patrol and the occasional cool car. Just don’t ask about politics and they appreciate the novelty of, say, a Geo Tracker Briefly joining their ranks.

Xzibit references and calling out the inanity of the Toyo-BMW mashup. Justin, you’re my new favorite Jalop. No offense, it’s just that Kristen Lee is kinda brilliant.

You know that there was someone on staff who had been pitching this for years.

My car in high school was a V8 Candy Apple Red Maverick. Slow AF (weakest 302 ever?) but I wish I still had it.
