I get your point, I really do. And I don’t mind people that have f150s and that sort of thing that makes a reasonable daily, and same for workers or people who really need a truck bed. But people who daily a lifted F350 dually with spacers for no utility purpose at all end up having a hobby that interferes with

Not to mention the differences in level of fit/finish/materials.

You may be right. This thing was considerably taller than a standard one. I think they were trying to get Ranger to sell for base Raptor money for people that really want one but don’t want to drop 50k on cloth seats.

Agreed the Fury is blah performing but good looking and IIRC has been dropped from the line-up, the Phantom is a comfy ride and looks great, but makes about 35 hp at the rear wheel, which means it can get out of its own way, but that’s about it. Honda tends to tune the cruisers like utility engines, the Phantom only

Thank you.   Your post is very informative.

Not sure why but I preferred the CR headlight setup though

Don’t ever get rid of it. I got rid of my first vehicle, a truck. And I regret it. I kept it for 23 years.

I was turned off by Polaris shuttering Victory because of the styling difference between Indian and Victory, now it seems like Indian has come around to making the modern examples has you have said, and I’am liking these new looks. wish I had the excess funds available for this now but maybe in a few more years. I’m

I haven’t ridden the newest generation, but there used to be a fair amount of “fixed adjustablity, in the controls especially.

Except that’s a Yamaha. V-Star 650 Silverado to be exact

Helpful facts for people that aren’t into motorcycles:

I really wish people would stop focusing so much on PEAK power numbers and look at the overall power curve. Or at rear-wheel thrust vs. RPM graphs (Performance Bike used to have those). 122 hp may not seem as impressive as 200 hp some sport bikes can generate, but to get 200 hp they have to be tuned to be most

And being horrifically inefficient and heavy and unbalanced, but whatever, you’re convinced. Bye

The frame comment was based on the absurd displacement not air vs liquid cooking. Though liquid cooling does allow for more powerful engine in a smaller package so there is a relationship.

Unless you got a 53 block. Those things suck.

Good choice and is what I have as the weekend chores vehicle. The engine actually only needs power to shutoff(unless if you send your clutch to hell by trying to stall it). If the starter fails, you just need to zip tie the shutoff solenoid in the up position and pray you have a steep enough slope near your parking

Twister truck was running the Magnum 5.9 gasser motor, but I like your thinking!

Kinda how I go 650 miles on 10 gallons of diesel while making more torque than the F150....

Parallel parking a truck in a city can be a pain, but when I lived in the city I didn’t do it all that often. Once a day when I got back from work. All other times I took public transit, uber, biked, or walked. With a backup camera its not really hard. Now I drive a commuter car and I can zip around the city, but I am
