Japanese cruisers are great bargains used. I tell guys at work who are interested in riding that they can buy a used Honda Shadow for cheap, ride it for a year, then sell it for what they paid.

My parents never had their dream cars, but they did buy their dream house as a second home growing up. It was beautiful, custom and on a lake. I’d imagine they felt like someone who owned their dream car. We were very respectful of other people’s things but eventually, things got damaged. A dog broke a glass door…
You obviously thought about that before posting it. What are you doing here?
...the family plans to use the car as a generator...
Oh fuck off, if you a ride a motorcycle you know full well what can happen and accept it. Don’t accept it? Stop riding. Calling someone selfish for enjoying their life is a pretty low fucking low blow.
Ha! GM really has a history with developing hybrids and then actively trying not to sell them, don’t they? What was it, the EV1? They sabotaged that one too.
Oh didn’t realize it was a diesel, that helps a lot.
It looks oddly similar to one my city put out last year. I’m wondering if there isn’t one place that does all these. Or a majority of them.
Andrew, I hate to be harsh as you’re the only one writing here about motorcycles— that’s good!— but your two posts today couldn’t be more off-base if they were written in WingDings.
Dang, impressive
Most people don’t realize how much money there is in SD. As of 2014 there were $226B in assets held in SD.
It’s always an engineering keeping everyone honest :)
If I were a truck guy, I’d get a Ridgeline, drive to my dad’s and load it in the bed. Would make for a fantastic Honda commercial.
I’m holding out for a Star Trek transporter.
I’m with you. I hate being in planes, dealing with airports, and living out of a suitcase.
:-) smaller is definitely easier to get in an out and around a lot of places.
Yup. Tip #2: Flat-towed cars wear out tires about 2x faster than driven.
Hell ya. There is a lot of incredible stuff to see, and places to camp, far from where you can take a trailer. Wife and I pity those that are bound to pavement and paid campgrounds. Food for thought. We camp about 20-30 nights out of the year, never spent a dime on a place to camp for the night.
Same here in Idaho. $4 fee for mailing tags. It’s another $4 or $5 to register online, but worth it to not have to stand in line.
