Still taller than a Suburban, and it has a sliding door. The hood ratio is a bit off, but still clearly a van by design IMO.

By design, while based on a pickup truck frame, the body was clearly designed as a van from the get-go.

This is incorrect.

I’m one of those strange millennials who actually likes Harley Davidson, but I hate the bar and shield logo, and prefer the text logo’s. This is a cool set of pictures, I’d love to get to the museum eventually.

I feel like it’s relevant enough to warrant a mention as it was actually a pretty good system, it just wasn’t marketed very well, and the market wasn’t ready. Turns out GM rolled out another version (their 3rd) mild hybrid in 2016 (in CA, available everywhere 2018) very similar to the Ram system. https://www.hybridcars

FYI, GM made a hybrid pickup all the way back in 2009. Ram didn’t beat anyone to anything.

Good point

All of the pre-emissions diesels did pretty good mileage wise actually, for a big truck that is. Doesn’t hurt that it only made 210-275 hp.

The 7.3 trucks are known to creep into the low 20's occasionally, so compared to basically any other pickup.

I really don’t want to argue with a Ute, because Utes are the best, but I will.

People already drive things like this where people live so.... repaint a couple of parking lines to give a little more space and you’re done. Really small streets in really old cities can become pedestrian only.

The Super Duty would be a good option as well, I just like the OBS slightly better. The engine is the same, so the slow point is void, and they’re both running on solid axle suspensions so how much worse could the ride be? Plus I happen to hate the interior on the first generation Super Duty.

Incidentally this would probably also qualify for the worst vehicle.

Some people might not like it, but it has to be the OBS F-250 with the 7.3.

Whoever put this animation together is either a real gearhead, or had a crazy selection of car models to use. I spot at least an old Beetle, a Whale Tail 911, a first gen Eagle Talon, possibly a Monza, a Chevy Bolt, an old Toyota pickup, and a YJ, there’s probably a bunch more.

Short 4 door = quad cab, long 4 door = crew cab, the Ram 2500/3500 is not available in quad cab form, so this would be a crew.

Had a set on my ‘89 Camaro, was by far the coolest thing about the car.

I actually did that with fresh Walleye and it was surprisingly good. It was kind of like fair food, ie, this is surprisingly good but I’m only going to maybe have it once a year because it’s not that good.

Maybe Cocoa Pebble milk is better, but I can never get past the flavorless mush that Cocoa Pebbles instantly turn to, therefore Cocoa Krispies are best.

Cocoa Krispie milk is by far the best cereal milk, and frosted flake milk is trash. It’s sugar milk with too much sugar, literally the only type of cereal milk I wont finish.
