Thanks! They did give a little back story, and I figured he was someone special based on how much they talked about him and how they were so focused on him. Just wish I could have seen a bit more of the race.

I definitely noticed that there was only one line, it was very well worn in by the time I tuned in. I’ll have to watch a few more races sometime, I love watching any sort of race in person, but have never really been interested in watching on TV.
That’s what I noticed, by the time I tuned in there was one very well worn in rut in the track, and only a couple of riders ventured outside of it.
I don’t usually watch much racing on TV, but I did catch a bit of the Daytona supercross on Saturday. It was decently entertaining, but one of the races I watched (450 class I think) spent literally all but 10 seconds of the race focused on one rider (can’t remember his name, he was in Florida to fish and was…
I too would love to see Polaris Industries get into the sport bike game, but honestly I don’t think they need Buell to do it. As great of an engineer that Buell is, and as much as I love his/their bikes, I feel that Polaris has a ton of potential already in house, which can be seen by their work on Project 156. At…
All except the Wide Glide correct? Which is based on the Dyna frame.
Pretty much. I’m not too certain about the “glides”, but JimZ gave a pretty good explanation.
How do the dual disks slow it down?
The Sportster and Dyna have had options for mid controlls for a while, you just hardly ever see them.
Essentially from bottom to top it goes; Street, Sportster, Dyna, Softtail, Touring (the V-Rod is kinda on its own). Those are the “catagories” then there’s a bunch of what I’ll call “trim levels” within each catagory. That’s where it gets tricky because you have the same frame/engine, but the style is different. For…
I was thinking the same thing. I really really want one of these mini bikes, but don’t have the use or need for one to justify 3K, but if in a few years these depreciate enough, I would love to pick one up for around a thousand bucks or so. Sadly though I think these will hold their value very well, for quite a while.
Maybe in the northern/western part of the state. Down by Sioux Falls used trucks are still expensive as hell, although they are slightly more reasonable than a year ago.
I found this video a while ago and I giggle like a school girl every time I watch it. That 2 stroke sounds amazing and it’s so damn quick. I’ve never wanted a scooter as bad as I do when I watch this video.
I don’t like it, something about that big gaping hole in the front just looks off too me. I would either make it a solid piece, or fill the entire hole with the brass blades, to imitate a grill or something. If someone with PS wants to tackle that, I would love to see it, because they way it looks right now doesn’t…
I think this is probably the once case where rear facing seats are a bad idea.
While I don’t think you’re wrong, I don’t see how they really could have done it any other way. When the Veyron came out, it was the pinnacle of automotive performance, a that’s it, that’s the absolute best we can do with a street car effort, and then it was made incrementally better over the years in an attempt to…
I’d rather the content be a little sparse, than have none at all, and a drugged up you is better than no you. Glad you’re feeling better and very glad it wasn’t worse!
Speaking of terrible Chevettes, I saw a diesel Chevette just the other day at the gas station.
It’ll convert me, I’ve been needing to size up from my Sportster and honestly haven’t been too impressed with HD’s offerings. What I have been impressed with however is Polaris’ push to try and change the cruiser segment, and for that I shall reward them with my money. This might not be perfect but it hits nearly all…
