My husband and I are the same. The whole “my darling/beautiful partner/wife/husband” makes us both want to puke. LOL
Nah, she named things like going on hikes, going to the beach, dancing, etc. Things, apparently, you stop doing in your 60s. Of course, I know that’s not true because so many of my clients are 60+, and they’re awesome. One just finished the San Camino, and another is walking to Machu Picchu.
The original guy wasn’t one of the 15 people who got misogynistic because of my answer. I assumed he was asking in honesty and I gave him an answer. It’s the other dudes who acted crazy about it.
Not to mention the myriad of institutions that exist that exclude women, plus, you know, daily life — particularly when you get to upper management positions (see: pence won’t eat dinner with women).

In talking to my husband, who apparently has started a spreadsheet, he’s noticed that that exact conversation has happened 12 times in the last 6 days. So at least twice a day.

You might consider talking to a bankruptcy lawyer who might be able to get your medical debt cleared and possibly some of your student debt if your medical needs hit a certain measure of disability such that they could be discharged in bankruptcy.
