I think what happens to the people who get their first dose by chance are automatically put into the queue to get their 2nd dose 3-4 weeks later (depending on which vaccine they get), even if they wouldn’t otherwise qualify. When you get your dose there’s someone there automatically scheduling you for your next dose.

Serious question from someone who doesn’t pay attention to the Bachelor or Bachelorette and can’t be bothered to research: What is the relationship success rate for the “winning” couple (or whatever you’d call it)?

Yeah, I watched the whole thing waiting for some kind of big tonal fuckup. It’s not her greatest performance, but it’s certainly not worthy of an entire article’s worth of ire (no matter how satirical it’s meant to be)?

I didn’t wake up in time to see this, nor do I plan to watch any recaps of this shitturd’s departure. But did “YMCA” really play as he left? WTF?

“... A different source claims that Kanye was increasingly uncomfortable with the hyper-visibility of the Kardashians’ lives, calling their reality show ‘unbearable’...”
Uhh, did Kanye not know who Kim was before marrying her?

Ummm, since you brought it up... I may or may not know someone who shoplifted regularly from the WF in DC when they were a poor college student. And yes, they get that shoplifting isn’t a victimless crime, and isn’t proud of their actions. But reading these ridiculous remarks from the CEO makes them feel at least a

Yes to all of what you wrote. ICU nurses are indeed “front line” but I think what a lot of people don’t understand is that the “second” and “third” lines are also working with COVID patients, and often with less resources than what’s available in the ICU.

As one RN to another, I agree. Although it’s often well meaning, to call RNs or any healthcare worker “angels” or “heroes” is just another way to dehumanize us. It allows people to think we’re all super human, and therefore going to be ok and “rise above.” The subtext also being we don’t need better pay or working

....They can go in, do their job, go home, spend time with their kids, watch sports. That’s the good life...”

I totally agree with your thoughts on “Coney Island”. But to me, I feel like “Hometown” is the most National song on the album. And “Dorothea” is like a Lumineers song, lol.

Dear Jezebel:

I’m a hospital RN and yesterday in the break room a coworker said she wasn’t planning to take the vaccine. She and I got into a yelling match, the only time in my 10 years as a nurse I’ve ever raised my voice at work, let alone yelled at anyone. I’m not proud of what happened, but it happened.
All this to say: I can

Yes. I know it’s low to comment on looks, but... He’s Exhibit A for how you start to look after spending most of your life being a complete prick. It makes me look forward seeing how well Jeffree Star’s face starts looking in about 7 years.

I feel we have similar views of The National and TS and folklore in general. And I think I felt the same way initially about evermore sounding like a “b-side” album. But something I’ve been surprised about with evermore is that because the songs lend themselves more as “background” music than her “stronger”/standout

Well said. As a TS fan who really enjoys both folklore and evermore, I’ve been trying to put my finger on the one thing about both that I couldn’t place. She’s a decent singer, but her limitations show on both of these releases.

I had no idea about Wesley Snipes. Wow, just wow.

So, my question is: did Cardi B end up buying the bag? Even if every single one of her followers said “no” would she still get it? She strikes me as the type of person who usually has her mind made up (yes, I’m buying the bag) before she even poses the question.

...And yet in a few days will be an article about how great Cardi B is. I know it’s been said by so many others before, but I truly don’t understand how/why she continues to get a Jezebel Pass for all her constant, shitty behavior.

I’m a fan of IG in theory because as I’ve always loved taking pics and sharing them (thinking back to Flickr and early days of FB); I feel like it used to be a place for people to post interesting pics of interesting things and places, which is what I tried to do. But yeah like most of us I hate what’s it’s turned
