I think I’m much like you- although I’m very amateur (took a class in college, love taking pics) and I like IG because I enjoy posting my photos (even though I hate what IG’s become). Do you use VSCO? It’s not as “social” as IG but you can build a community there.

Yeah, ‘cause god forbid he be a short person. Short people are gross. What a good sign!!!!!!

I think it would be great if next time, instead of an unflattering photo of the victim (Phil Collins), you put an unflattering photo of the human piece of trash that is his ex-wife.

Thank you for your optimism. Yours is the kind of comment I was hoping to get from reading the comments section of this article.

Paul Rudd has been my “get out of jail free” fling for about 15 years. You could show me proof that he murders babies regularly and I wouldn’t care. I love him so much.

How fucking lazy do you have to be to pee in a bottle while sitting in first class (which I’m assuming is where he sat)? Was the aisle not wide enough for you to wiggle past? The 10 paces from your seat the the bathroom too far? Christ, what an asshole.

Anymore, a celebrity-turned-politician wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for me the way it would have been, say, a decade ago. The country’s been legislated by career politicians for two centuries now and that hasn’t exactly worked out that well for us so far.

Yeah! I read the article expecting a tale that was equal parts erotic and repulsive.

I appreciate what you say and that’s a point I hadn’t even considered. If you’re like me and define part of who you are through your work, being in that kind of work environment sounds really miserable.

Oh, I definitely agree with you that it’s cultural. And also maybe regional too? I’ve worked as a nurse in the East Coast, West Coast and Midwest and I feel there are generalizations one could make about hospital culture based on what area of the country you work. When I was a baby nurse working on the EC, I found the

My theory is that Megyn is sucking up to secure a lead anchor spot on Donnie’s cable “news” network once he loses the election.

I agree with you. I work in an industry (nursing) that’s also known for experienced nurses abusing the newbies. And I just don’t understand why it’s just accepted as fact. The justification seems to be “you’ll get to do the same to the new nurses once you’re more senior” as though that’s something I should look

Sorry not sorry to be *that* guy (this is Kylie we’re talking about), but her debut album Kylie was released in 1988 (not 1998). Let’s give this queen the credit she deserves!

Wow just wow. Almost everyone quoted in this article is like, “yeah it’s shitty that my employees were treated like that but that’s how I was treated when I was in their position...” We talk about breaking the cycle of abuse in personal relationships and maybe we should start applying that thinking to the restaurant in

Donnie J has Cocaine Hair in that IG post.

Yeah, as a nurse who has elderly/hospice care experience, there’s no way either of those two will end up in a nursing home, lol.

I read the headline and just knew Taylor Swift would be mentioned as part of the blame. I’m just surprised it took until about halfway through the article.

I think it would be great if NPR paired with different roasters around the country (in addition to Counter Culture) each month to create different themed blends. That’s the kind of coffee subscription I’d join.

“Slime is... a really important movement for people.” Is my catchphrase for the weekend.

Pet peeves of mine with bathroom mirror selfies:
1) Is it that hard to look into the mirror instead of down at the phone? What a wasted opportunity.
2) take a minute to clean up the surrounding area- nobody wants to see the trash bins and clutter!

umm, okay, yeah, I know I need to get a life. Kthxbye.
