If you make that much effing money, just buy a place where you work. I’m sure he can find a nice $3 mil bungalow somewhere around town. Heck there’s probably a penthouse somewhere in that old Sears building that is Starbuck’s HQ.

This is no good, does this mean there will not be another skyline? I rented one once, these were fine cars in my opinion. Only weird thing was their dual screen infiniti goofiness.
Well the old Mirage was really the Lancer, so it’s kind of an apples to oranges comparison. It would be more fair to compare it to a base model Colt from 1993, but I don’t think we got that in the states. Regardless, we lose something when there are no more basic, cheap cars to buy.
Yes, tow ratings of midsize and 1/2 trucks is a little ridiculous. Just because it says it can do it on paper, doesn’t mean you want to try it.
Can we just go back to column shifters being the default for automatics? No need to take up any space elsewhere.
This is silly. You’d get the same results if you swabbed the floor of your house probably. That’s how culturing bacteria works. The stuff is everywhere.
Right pedal makes it go, left pedal makes it stop. If you ain’t rowing your own it doesn’t matter how it works. I don’t care if you don’t like the drone or whatever. CVT hate is overblown.
They’ve always been amazingly spacious. Rented a Tiida, or whatever it’s called in Mexico, way back in 2008. The rear seat room was amazing. Hopefully the new ones are similar. Only thing that would make me hesitant to buy one is the size dis-advantage compared to all the other behemoths on the road.
And a regular slushbox is better? If it’s got to be an auto, who cares imo.
It’s what EVs probably should be. A basic car with no fancy BS.
Yes. The RX-7 is the peak of 90s cars.
Exactly. That is a personality defect that is not fixable. She needs to leave him over this.
This is so nuts that somebody would design a car like this. What problem are they solving, having these electrically operated doors? It’s so stupid, I don’t get it. Also flush door handles, what problem do they solve? They look cool I admit, but other than that, why? Looks like they might actually be dangerous. …
Can a 7000 lb vehicle be too fast? Yes. These things are weapons in the hands of your usual clueless driver.
I personally think there will be a backlash to this current lack of color in our society. It doesn’t even stop with cars. Folks are painting the insides and outsides of their houses grey. I even saw a black house the other day. It looks terrible. I say bring back the 70's baby! Chartreuse countertops? Why not?!
We have to start accepting that compact SUV’s are really just tall cars. In fact they are tall wagons. So basically we have won by tricking America into buying our favorite jalop-vehicle.
That’s terrible. The headlight controls should be on the left stalk, full stop. No idea why US manufacturers have resisted this convention forever. At least before it was a switch on the dash. Hopefully the E.U. is successful in regulating controls on screens.
I think like around 90% of GA crashes are pilot error. It’s very easy to kill yourself in one, and some of the folks that want to be pilots probably shouldn’t be. Like the old saying goes there are old pilots and bold pilots ....
Well even so, put some sort of acceleration limiter or something on these things. They are so fast and so damn heavy. The potential to cause a ton of damage is huge.
What’s more concerning is that the Cybertruk and well many electric cars, are stupid fast. Like absurdly fast. Dangerously fast. Especially considering the types of folks that will often be driving them (dingbat tech bros). If you see one of these things on the street, give it a wide berth.
