How cool is it that these things come with a stick shift?

Don’t do this.  Just will waste gas and make your truck now that much more complicated.

yes rear-facing is probably safer.  Looks like with these though, they were not safely fastened to the vehicle.  Not to mention your kids are in the rear crumple zone, which is not good.

Ideally there would be some sort of standard sized battery and the manufacturers would have to deal with it.  If you wanted more range, design a care with more standard batteries.  Too bad this will never happen.

I own a 2000 Nissan Frontier which like the article mentioned was the first crew cab light truck in the U.S. Everybody jokes about the bed, but if you can tie knots, it’s not hard to pack a ton of stuff in the back.  This is the default truck size and configuration for 90% of the world.  To say the bed is not useful

What’s not to like about these cars? I mean they are less ugly than the Lexus IS, right? Still a big mistake that Infiniti didn’t stick with their old naming convention. Shouldn’t matter what they call it though as us enthusiasts know that these things are just Skylines.

All Japanese pickups have always used six lugs regardless, unless you are talking about a 2wd Toyota.

I don’t hate it, but I do like the 2-tone paint.  Anything to make cars a tad more interesting these days.

Honestly another way to look at it is that these things are all little hatchbacks and wagons with a bit more ground clearance. They are cars no matter what the industry tries to call them. So if that is what it took to finally get folks to realize it’s the most useful shape for a car, then so be it.

Yeah I’ve been following this ship since I first heard about it.  At this point, unless some angel investor with about $1B steps in, this thing is destined to be scrapped, like all the beautiful ocean liners before her.  It’s a pity, but it’s been completely gutted.  None of the original fittings remain on the

They use the VQ38DD now which is a directi injection 3.8L VQ engine.  The VQ has always been a great engine no matter what you put it in.

They make special versions of trucks for America, just so we can more easily kill pedestrians. See the Toyota Tacoma and Chevy Colorado, both have much bigger grilles and front-ends than their more capable international equivalents.

Yeah this was really dumb, astoundingly stupid. Almost as bad as dropping the Datsun nameplate. I think they must have been trying to copy audi or bmw or something, but it makes no sense. You can just see corporate “Hey let’s take that line of cars we’ve been so successful with (g35,37) and let’s rename them so nobody

I love it but Rivian will pack too much junk on it. This little thing will probably weigh like 5000 lbs. If it was me I’d get rid of at least one motor, make it less gonzo fast, junk the screens, and figure out a way to have 4 round headlights on the front. Chances of Rivian being able to make this for a profit are

People on here give Nissan and Infiniti too much shit. They talk of the glory days of the 90's. Well guess what, Nissan did almost go bankrupt in the late 90's. If it wasn’t for Renault, they probably would have. Their product lineup in the USA is a bit stale, but good enough, as their sales year over year are an

Agreed, just because a car company makes what you consider crappy cars, doesn’t mean they aren’t still in the black.

Working on any V engine is a giant pain.  No thanks.  I’d take a turbo 4 anyday over a V-6.

Remember a harley engine is just 2 cylinders out of a radial.

Yeah I know it’s an unpopular opinion in the crowd, but I laughed all through that movie about how silly it was.  And yes the plot was really stupid.

If you can get an interest rate that is lower than what you are earning in a mutual fund or similar, you’d be foolish to not get the loan.
