Jeremy Clarkston has never been funny or amusing.  Maybe if you are an 8th grader.  I don’t get it.

Came here to say this basically.  Some kids from my high school died when one of these rolled.  All were buckled in.  These things were a notorious deathtrap and should not be celebrated.  It’s good that they are mostly gone.

Yeah that was mean wasn’t it?  And snarky.  Oh well.  Truth be told though, first thing you do is get the Factory Service Manual, FSM.  Don’t have that you’ll do a lot of dumb shit like break all your trim pieces, lol.  We’ve all been there.

Did you seriously just make an article about how service manuals exist? If you don’t have a manual for your car, you’re doing it wrong and should probably find another hobby.

Don’t do this. I have had a bad experience with HP’s customer service. They refused to honor the warranty of a laptop I purchased from woot, even though I had the receipt of my purchase. In their records it was shown as several months earlier (probably due to woot getting from a 3rd party? who knows). No amount of

I don’t think so, patents only last 20 yrs.

Do you have an opinion on the MV-1?

Ask him if he has any interest in an electric supercar someday.  Plug it right into the nuclear reactor there at Hanford.  Lol.

From reading wikipedia I think it was once thought that the Tuatara had the quickest molecular evolution. Not sure how that would be measured. Pretty wacky creature though, the last of it’s kind. Not a lizard, in it’s own order.

Yes it’s amazing that this guy can pull this off. I am curious how many cars you would have to sell to make a profit.  At $1.9 mil per unit, maybe not that much.

I wanna know how this guy gets the money and expertise to build these things in Richland effing Washington?  I’m from the region, they’ve got Hanford and all but really?  It’s pretty cool though.  Love seeing the familiar fields fly by in some of the videos.

Here would be my regulations.

I love their approach and how they are keeping it simple. No dumb screens and gizmos. The thing I don’t like about it is that they gave it an absurd payload just to classify it as a HD truck so that they don’t have to engineer any safety into it. This thing will be a meat-grinder to any person unlucky enough to wreck

Yes I agree.  We are a weird bunch of insecure folks here in America.  Take a look at the Colorado.  Sure it doesn’t look that mean, but they did have to square it off just for our market.  Seems silly (maybe it was to fit a V6 too, I dunno).

Yes I am very familiar with the g-wagon’s history, I was just wondering if it’s even possible to put steelies and small wheels one any U.S. spec. ones or are their brakes so honkin huge that they would never fit?

Just because you can make the entire roof glass, doesn’t mean you should. Ever heard of the greenhouse effect? Maybe it would make a good rolling greenhouse, I dunno. Oh and glass does weigh quite a bit more than steel.

What in the hell is going on with lexus’s current grille designs?  Good god they are beyond hideous.

I wonder, how small of wheels can you fit on these things?  Are the brakes too big to allow for good off-road sized wheels.  It would be fun to get an old one, and put some steelies on it.  But of course your are stuck with the absurdly large engines that are way to thirsty.  I think i’ll pass.

Mostly they are just so slow.  Manually open a hatch and it just pops up right away, you don’t have to wait for some motor to crank it up.  Slam it down to shut it, no big deal.  I find electric sliding doors on a minivans similarily annoying.  Like unless you are an amputee or something, these things just aren’t that

I like it.  Old one was pretty handsome though.  This one seems to fix most of it’s issues.  Does anybody else here really hate power lift gates?  Man I just find them annoying.
